THANK YOU DUREA! My a/c unit was running loud so I called for service. I was afraid I would have to wait weeks. Durea was sooooo kind on the phone and was able to schedule an appointment THAT DAY! THANK YOU DUFF! Duff was early to the appointment, very professional and personable! He explained that my air conditioner just needed some cleaning and it was back to running super quiet! I have a 5 year old central air conditioner from Vastola, which has only needed routine maintenance. Duff could’ve said I needed some major part replacement, I soooo appreciated his honesty! It’s wonderful to know that Vastola is always there when I need them and they have wonderful people working for them!

18 months into whole new house install I’m forced to spend $1400 because their initial install wasn’t done properly. Refrigerant leak at the exterior of the home due to not being braised properly per other company here now. Don’t want them back at the house because the lady who answered the phone was so brash on the phone and would charge to come look at it because they don’t trust other companies.

Very knowledgeable and terrific service. The owner Dan is an outstanding guy and has done a few projects for me which have always turned out fantastic.

Sold us a unit that required a certain amount of voltage from the utility company without advising my wife and I. Purchased the unit in November it never worked, it was loud, continued running without shut down. Caused our bill to soar for 5 months and added $1500 a month in electric bils. Upon the six they finally replaced the unit we were put out for 5 months. My wife and I had to take days off work off to be home while they try to repair it. Our electrician and the utility company rep said in front of Vastola that this was totally on them. I have the documention
from the utility co. And recordings and pictures. They refuse to reimburse us for the issues in which they created. Very dissapointed in Vastola.

I set up our yearly maintenance for our warranty back in March for today (5/12) during the times of between 12-2. I get a call from my husband at 11 saying Vastola was waiting outside our home to start. Luckily I was only a few mins away. The technician did the servicing, and when I was about to pay, he said the cost would be almost $200. I was confused since the email said $96. I showed him the email, and he said he was stepping out to call the office to see what was going on. No one answered so he gave me back my credit card, and said he was leaving her my number for her to call me. My husband then gets a call at work stating that I was refusing to pay. I call back and spoke to Durea, and tried explaining what happened and she kept speaking over me. I never refused to pay, the technician didn’t want to charge me since he had no idea what was going on. I am tired of dealing with her since she clearly has no idea what she is doing. Last year the technician was almost 2 hours late, and she tried saying that I had the times wrong even though I had the email with the times. This year they were an hour early, and she tried blaming the technician since he “was suppose to call before coming over. ” I will be looking for a new company to take over the yearly maintenance just so I don’t have to deal with her. At least the technician was nice.

Great experience from start to finish. Chris was on time, knowledgeable and thorough with his assessment.bob and ray did a great job on the install and walk through.

Updated review: 5/17 - Vastola still awful. Since my April comment they had to come again for furnance not working. Had to cut pipes. Oh it’s a week later and furnace isn’t working again. It’s Hialrious they commented as if this wasn’t a big deal. And now we can add two more visit to the list. Did I mention my house is only 5 months old?

Old review… This company is awful. Had them in a previous home, the house never got cool enough in summer. Now I am in new build, force to use them bc of builder and one week in to living here during winter storm our furnace breaks. Took them 4 times to diagnose the problem. Blows my mind they installed the system and couldn’t figure out problem. Now first day of warm weather. I turn my air on … oh air does not work. Nothing is working. Clearly problem was never fixed or this wasn’t installed right to begin with. A brand new home with a not reputable heating cooling system is beyond disappointing. Makes me very uneasy to be living in a home with a system not even properly installed.

Needed new furnace and AC system. Came on time and was amazing. Courteous, thorough and quick work. The system works great. The AC system is whisper quiet and cools quickly. Recommend them highly!

Brian from Vastola Heating and Cooling recently gave me an excellent presentation in my home. At this time I'm considering installing an air conditioning unit. The quote was reasonable and fair and I would recommend calling this company.

My a/c quit on us Thursday 6/1/23 at 4am in the morning.
Got in touch with Vastola to get a technician here to fix it. Made an appointment for today 6/2/23. Technician Dalton arrived earlier which was great. Checked out my thermostat and determined it needed replacing with a new one. Install was fast and then he made sure my a/c and blower was funtioning correctly. Dalton was very professional and courteus and knew his businees. Glad it was he who came to get our a/c working and I would ask for him again if I needed service.

Scheduled a service for Boiler cleaning tech came out asked to turn Boiler on so he could check out Boiler. He said furnace came on once after that Boiler wouldn’t start said he broke a part when cleaning said he would have the part on his truck, but this truck was on for service. Vastola would call the next morning to schedule time to replace part now I get a call this morning saying that they have to order the part will not be in to next week

Everyone we encountered was helpful, pleasant and professional. From Dalton who diagnosed the problem, to Chris Wagner, the sales rep, to Sebastian and Jake who installed the unit, went above and beyond. I would highly recommended the company to anyone we know and would definitely use them again in the future. It is so refreshing to see that people take accountability and pride in their work.

Scheduled a routine cleaning of our gas furnace where after the tech did the cleaning he was not able to get it working again. Was then charged $300 to have the cleaning and repair done which didn't fix the issue and we were left with no heat over the weekend, we have an 11 month old baby in the house. They sent a salesman who quoted me $7600 to replace the furnace with no other cheaper options being offered. I called another company to come out and look at the furnace and he was able to fix the issue for $800 and got it running again same day without replacing the furnace. I understand that a service needs to be paid for of the tech doing the cleaning, but I don't think its right to be charged for that amount when I was left without a working system. Tried calling to ask for a refund and was offered. 5 hours of labor refunded. I never write reviews but this just didn't sit right with me.

CJ is by far the most knowledgeable furnace salesman I spoke with amongst all the companies I spoke with. I highly recommend Vastola. Great cost and friendly staff from the initial call to the the install.

I purchased a new furnace install from Vastola Heating (Springville, NY). Unit was 13 months old when I found a 6" round hole above furnace (in sheet metal connecting furnace output to home vents) Vastola never covered hole on install even tho contract stated sheet metal work included. In a short feedback, Vastola never installed correctly. I was charge $170.00 to patch hole even tho they did not operate system on install long enough to feel heat escaping thru hole. Hole was fixed, but I feel it was Vastola's lack of professionalisn on install. I'll think long and hard before using Vastola for future needs. I recommend finding a different installer/repair company. Workers were great and very professional, just company management leaves much to be desired.

Vastola provided excellent repairs and modifications to duct work that had been poorly installed. Mr. DeMarco personally visited our home to inspect it. The crew was professional and very skilled. I couldn't ask for better service.

These guys are the best. CJ came out and talked us through everything and explained the different options. Never pushy, was up front and honest. The installation today was seemless. The Lenox furnace is amazing, such a different from my old single stage. Sebastian and Jacob were the techs. Super professional, made sure everything was clean, rugs were down to avoid wet and mud. I couldn’t of asked for a better experience. Call these guys with whatever HVAC needs you have.

6: 30 AM on a Saturday and I am woken up to the garbage man at Vastola Heating and Cooling banging the huge metal garbage cans. Beyond rude and this isn’t the first time this has happened. The entire street has complained multiple times and nothing seems to be taken care of. Have some respect for your neighbors as we were here before this business was built on Abbott Road.

Our HVAC system was well along in years. Jack Smith arrived at the house to give us a honest idea of what needed to be done. After agreeing, on price involved, and instillation date we are more than satisfied. The crew was professional, polite, and cleaned up after themselves very well. This is a great company to consider for heating and cooling needs.
