This Dojo is a game changer for me! Now I know why I could not fit into the culture of the gyms you see advertised on the regular. Color/race/ethnicity none of that matters here. Members just cheer and motivate each other with positivity. It feels like support. Always clean and the Instructors are serious about helping me reach my goals. If Good Vibes Only was a place, this is definitely it!

So glad I listened to my colleague that recommended this place. I love the diversity and seeing everyone push and encourage one another. Not being active for a while had me feeling intimidated with anxiety but I have to admit, these are professionals that show understanding for beginners with injuries, that are sometimes overweight and really just need the right environment/motivation and leadership to find a way back to healthy living.
My favorite is how the Sense show two different types of movement for the same drill/exercise, There is always something I can do until I am beast mode like so many members here. Luv this place!

It's the cleanliness, motivation, professionalism and positive energy for me. I thank the Sense's for understanding that everyone is not training to work for SWAT or the Marines, but the beginner classes still push me closer to where I want to be. I always leave feeling better. It doesn't hurt that the house/club music in the background be fire and I'm learning how to get home safe by any means necessary!

Being nosy paid off for me. I hit the fitness/self defense jackpot! Ever since I walked in here I knew this was the place I needed for the balance I've been seeking. It feels therapeutic in the best way. Love the upbeat tunes in the back and how the Sense gives their all with working out, coming around to show us different ways and have options to work towards. I have learned the hard way it's hard to stay in shape and hard to be over weight. This dojo taught me "Laziness Causes Pain". As A New Yorker I have to be able to walk and run. I on my way at this dojo to be in a much better place. LET'S GO!

I tried to get ahold of someone that would talk to me about the programs. It has been nearly two weeks and still nothing. The first two receptionists were professional to talk to but not so much the third time, she was dismissive and had a sense of "I don't care" in her demeanor. I emailed twice and called 3 times with no response. I wanted to know about their white to black belt program, simple questions really. All in all we will go with something else
