Venkatesh Jayaraman, MD, MRCP, Binghamton NY

I think Dr. Jayaraman is a wonderful nephrologist. He explains everything very carefully, and if I don't understand, goes through it again. He is very patient and never makes me feel rushed.
I couldn't be happier to be in his care. He's thorough and compassionate.

This is my second review of Dr. Jayaraman. Dr. "J" is an expert in his field. I am pleased with how he is helping me manage my condition. In my appointments he reviews my blood work and addresses any areas of concern. And mentions the results where I am doing well. He always asks if I have questions or need clarification on what has been discussed. I appreciate that approach because it does not make me reluctant to ask questions. Open communication with my doctor is very important.

Dr. Jayaraman is compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough. He spent time giving me a real exam and explained my care options going forward. I felt comfortable and cared for.

Dr. Jayaraman and the staff were very competent, asked pertinent questions and listened to answers, oral and written. Very impressive.

Dr. J is so patient and kind. He puts my mom at ease and explains things to her in terms she can understand.

Took my mother to see Dr Jayaraman for the first time. He wasn't what we had expected as we've had our share of problems with specialists. Well.we are stunned. He was AWSOME! He took the time to get to know my mother and was very straight forward but with the kindest bedside manner I've seen in years. My mother adored him and she is she is a tough cookie to impress. Initially we were contemplating not going to his office in Appalachian, as it is a drive for us, but after meeting him, he is well worth the drive

Dr. Jay is always smiling and courteous which makes for a great visit. Listens to what you have to say and explains in detail your tests and you can understand the tests.

Very good appt. Receptionists very pleasant & helpful! Nurse very efficient & pleasant! Dr. Answered all. Questions I had! Gave me results of bloodwork with explanations.

Jill was the nurse the day that I came in. Jill was professional and friendly.
Dr. Jayaraman was professional and pleasant. He explained my plan of care and testing. He maintained eye contact with me during our conversation. His manner was engaging. Dr. Jayaraman even asked what I had done for my living.
I had a rewarding and pleasant experience with Dr. Jayaraman and his staff.

From the minute that Dr. Jayaraman enters the exam room I know that he has reviewed my records, remembers details, knows almost everything about me. I firmly believe that Dr. J cares about his patients. Dr. J gives me information and advice about upcoming appointments.
I trust him. I believe in him.

First time I had a telephone appointment. It was a follow up and no new complaints so I was confident in doing the telephone appointment. The doctors office called when they said they would, took all my information and I provided blood pressure readings and temperature readings taken before the call. My lab work was done a few days before so they had that information. The doctor personally called and he was as thorough as he has been when I visit personally. I was happy to do this and not drive the 35 miles in the cold to go to the appointment! Thanks!

I've been going to this Dr for several years and each time he takes time to explain how my kidneys are doing, what my meds are doing to help and what I'm doing that help my kidneys and my whole body. So my last visit he said my kidneys are doing great and my blood work was good, the results was excellent that he released my from his care. I thank him and all the girls that has helped him.

Dr. JayaraMan, is an excellent doctor. I've been' going to Dr Jayaraman for many years. I trust him completely.
