They're short staffed! When you get here ; unless you're paying your bill through their machine you wont be let In. The wait can be long

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY MANAGERS. This New York Verizon Wireless Store located at 859 Broadway (at Union Square) NY NY 10003, has without question, the worst Store Manager and General Manager I have ever dealt with in my 25 years as a good customer of Verizon. After setting up an appointment to upgrade my phone, the Store Manager, Rocio, carelessly damaged my new iPhone. Beyond being extremely unprofessional and incompetent, Rocio handed my phone over to a second-rate trainee to do the “work” because she couldn't be bothered after a few attempts. After three more trips to the store that same day and never fixing her mistake, Rocio fled. As I returned the following day, General Manager, Guisella, (Ricio’s boss) stepped in and was even worse. She defended Rocio’s unprofessional and carless actions/behavior and had the audacity to immediately blame Apple. Guisella’s tone and attitude became extremely nasty as all of the Verizon employees stood nearby and witnessed her unpleasant behavior (including the new trainee). I immediately asked for Guisella’s Supervisor’s contact information so that I could report her out of control behavior. Guisella refused several times to give me that information and also refused to give me her Verizon business card when asked. I left the store with a brand new, now non-working, broken phone.

I then went to the nearby Apple store in Manhattan located a couple blocks away, explained the situation, and they told me that this particular Verizon Wireless store at Union Square is known for blaming Apple for their careless errors. The very professional and helpful Apple representative looked at my phone that Verizon damaged and offered me a new phone. The Apple representative also said the poor Verizon service happens so often at the nearby store that they recommend Verizon customers switch to AT&T for better service. Good advice given by Apple!

The following day, I phoned Verizon Corporate to file an official complaint and spoke to an ‘Escalation Supervisor’ (name withheld) to explain the awful experience. She was very disappointed that these two Union Square location Managers were this unprofessional and careless. She mentioned that this type of behavior from Verizon employees and Managers is not tolerated by The Verizon Corporate Office and suggested I register an official complaint to their New York District Manager (and boss), Delan. She then emailed him the detailed information and mentioned that he would be getting in touch with me within 24-48 hours as per Verizon company policy. Delan never called. How surprising. The Escalation Supervisor suggested that if Delan didn't call, I should contact The Corporate Office to file a complaint against him as well. She said in her over 30 years of working at Verizon, she found the conduct of Managers Rocio and Guisella very disturbing and apologized on their behalf.

WARNING: During this time of COVID-19, and during the reopening of NYC stores, expected safety measures are to be in place and followed. At this NYC Verizon Wireless store located at 859 Broadway (at Union Square) NY NY10003, I witnessed the Store Manager and other employees allowing customers to enter without masks and use their equipment. I experienced employees NEVER cleaning or disinfecting any surfaces or equipment that everyone was touching and never cleaned off service counters when customers left. NEVER! The glass doors, door handles, and windows were filthy with handprints and grime. Truly disgusting. This store will also be reported to the city and state for their negligence to following strict NYC COVID-19 protocol. AVOID THIS NYC UNION SQUARE STORE!

Rodrigo was professional, charming and extremely patient. I ordered a phone online, but has issues with the order. He went above and beyond with the help of his managers Kevon and Kash to get it resolved. He was able to get me my new phone and even helped me set up. The staff here is very kind and patient during these trying times. I’m so happy I came to this location. Rodrigo made my experience amazing. His patience is incredible and he’s so kind.

Extremely helpful and attentive staff. I was helped by Zam, and we navigated all the many confusing options regarding my new device purchases and choosing a newer, updated plan that works best for me and my home. Excellent experience all around.

Marco and RJ, general Myers, fixed my phone when Talkback was on and there was no way I could turn it off. It wasn't a slam dunk, but they figured it out.

I like the store just not some of the workers I went there to buy my phone and accessories for the phone and you have some of the workers thinking I'm gonna still because of my skin color when is this hate gonna stop it's so sad

Awful experience! There isn't any price tag on all items! There were 2 customers after me, bit I'd made a choice and waited about 20 minutes before anyone could sell me. I don't recommend to visit this store. PS: when I returned that I've fogot to use gift card for the last payment, manager to use it very fast so +1.

In one evening I went from having the worse Verizon customer service to the absolute best! Devon and Giovanni listened to my struggle and did not let me leave till resolution was found! Devon went above and beyond to make magic happen and throughly impressed me with his tenacity and care. Thank you for renewing my belief in people! Verizon needs people like you two in all their stores!

Wanted to upgrade a iphone.store opens 30 min after posted time on Sunday. We were told they had no promotions on phone other than a lame upsell on cases.sales clerk not very knowledgeable or friendly.walked to Verizon store on 5th near 21st and had a much better experience.sales person knowedgeable, upgraded two phones and got $30 off wireless fast charger; newest ipad $200 bucks ; and an all around great experience. Verizon is screwing customers with high prices, at minimum good service should be a standard.walk a few blocks to the 21st and 5th ave store for a better customer experince.

Stopped by here today to pick up a new phone. I wish I remembered the sales associates' name because he was really great. He was very informative, helpful, and professional. It's definitely worth stopping by here.

You know you're in for a treat when you walk in and the associate takes their time getting off their personal phone, looks up and says nothing to you, with an expectant look on their face as though to use words would be too much effort.this was the baseline of my interaction with 3 different associates over the course of 3 different trips in the span of one week.i get that they deal with a ton of questions from all range of issues but it's been awhile since anywhere in NYC was i treated with this level of dismissal and making it obvious they give less than zero *$%#s.

A well oil-trained staff. Customer service is excellent. Great hands on approach. I was particularly impressed with the store manager, Matt. He actually canvases the floor. Moreover, he exceeded my expectations with an exchange and billing issue. He meticulous analyzed what occurred, explained it to me, and resolved the issue to my satisfication.

Every time I visit this store, the customer representative always take care of me. Today, i had the pleasure of Jiniah (customer representative) to take care of me. She was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Helpful staff - unfortunately they did not have the phone that I wanted in stock but they found another Verizon store that had it in stock and put the phone on hold for me.
