Dr. Dave has been reliable, professional, caring, and compassionate. He has been taking care of my pup Mazie since the beginning of her life with me. The first time I met him my pup was only 8 weeks old. At my first visit he sat with her in his arms for awhile to get to know her. And answered all my questions. His staff is a reflection of him. Every time I call I get a warm response and they listen to my needs and are as caring as he is. Thank you all so much. I am so confident that Mazie is in your care.

Horrible vet he is. Brought my dog in because he wasnt doing too good and he took him back and did "his exam" came back saying heart and lungs were fine. Fast forward 2 days he was acting worse than previous so I went to a vet who actually does an exam on your dog/cat and he states that he has a grade 2 heart murmur and fluid in his lungs and has congestive heart failure. Now if I were to listen to this pathetic veterinarian my dog would have been closer to death than he is now thanks to an actual veterinarian doing an actual full exam on my dog. Which idi not recommend this vet at all, he doesn't examine your pet, you can't go back there to be with your pet while he "examines it" and when he comes to speak about your pet he sits in the waiting room with you and everyone else, while your pet stays in the back without you. I would give this place negative stars if that was a thing because this practice is negligent in the care of animals and veterinary practices. From his malpractice, I would have lost my dog due to him not performing an examination which is what you pay for when you go to a vet to have your pet checked out. DO NOT GO TO THIS MALPRACTICE PLACE.

The absolute best there is. The entire staff is compassionate, friendly, kind and overall amazing. During an extremely difficult time, they were so supportive. I am truly grateful.

Cannot ask for a better vet and staff. They are just so nice. Dr. Dave is so knowledgeable and will tell you everything in detail. You won't walk out spending money you didn't have to and more, so the care and treatment is to perfection

I can’t say enough about the staff here, super super friendly and compassionate about you and your fur baby. Dr Dave saved the life of my 3 year old Cat after I was told to pay 10K for a blood transfusion at the ER hospital.

Dr. Aguirre is the best, most caring vet on Long Island, hands down. I first starting using him when he was with Coram Animal Clinic, and was so upset
when he left. After a string of bad replacement vets, that office closed and I was so happy when I heard he had his own practice! He was so kind and compassionate when my dog Ash was in his last days. You can tell that he doesn’t just care about the bottom line, he truly loves animals and wants to always do the right thing by his patients first and foremost. We adopted our new dog Hopper in February, and there’s no one else I would bring him to.

Started seeing this vet during Covid so I didn’t make a big deal when he didn’t let us in the exam rooms, however even after Covid he does not let you in the exam room with your dog. Ive have had numerous dogs over the last 40 years and never have I been told I could not come into the exam room with my dog. The last time I was there I said it was ridiculous and questioned why I could not be in the exam room with my dog and he said i should find another vet if I can’t trust him. And that’s exactly what I did. No vet should make you feel bad about wanting to be in the exam room with your animal.

Dr. Dave is such a compassionate and caring soul! He eases the burden of going to the vet for both you and your animal. His heart is in everything he does for your loved one and I am truly grateful I have crossed paths with him. I highly recommend his services!

I am so thankful for doctor dave and his whole entire staff. Finding out my best friend had osteosarcoma was heart wrenching for me, almost paralyzing honestly. I had no clue where to turn or what the right choices were for my best friend who was in so much pain. Dr Dave leaped straight into action for coarse of treatment, while along the way comforting my family and I with his many success stories. My Tyson boy is high anxiety and a large dog.every time with out hesitation he gets the most snuggles during his appointments. Having a staff who knows how to treat a large animal comfortably has been hard to come by for me. My gratitude for this staff is beyond words. Because of them my boy is still here with me today and thats all that matters to me. These are amazing people with huge hearts, and i will never forget what they have done for my family and i THANK YOU Dr Dave, the vet tech’s, and the reception girls.

This vet fit me in today last minute on a booked Saturday, because even though my dog was having what I considered an emergency, my normal vet wouldn't fit us in. In a panic I called several offices around town & was just about to lose it when I remembered my parents saying good things about him, & I was immediately impressed by how caring & sympathetic the receptionist on the phone was. (In person she was even sweeter!) & the dr was great. Even though we may be on a bumpy road, I appreciate him being upfront & explaining exactly what the situation is. My dog is my baby. I'm terrified of what's to come but so grateful I found this vet just in time.

Always quick to get in and they don't try to sell you things you don't need. Great staff.

I found Dr. Dave in August 2020 when my dog Rocky was diagnosed with Lymphoma T-Cell. Rocky's regular vet was told that Rocky had 3-6 months to live without Treatment or 18 months with treatment. I wanted to give Rocky every chance I could.   We were referred to an Oncologist; they couldn't give Rocky an appointment for several weeks. I knew the longer I waited things could progress.   I did some research and found Dr. Dave, I called his office and explained my situation and they gave me an appointment right away. Dr. Dave explained everything to me and took the time to answer any questions I had. Rocky started Chemo right away.   Rocky finished his Chemo in January 2021. Dr. Dave and his staff were so caring through Rocky's treatment and he loved them and they still continue to care for Rocky as we continue his journey. He is still currently in remission, which I hope he continues.   I don't know what will be in the future but I'm loving my boy Rocky as much as I can. I have no doubt in my mind that if it wasn't for Dr. Dave and his staff, I would not have my dog with me today. I cherish every extra day I have with Rocky. I can't thank Dr. Dave and his staff enough for what they did for Rocky and what they continue to do for him. You can see they truly love their patients and care about them. I have Dr. Dave to thank for saving my dog's life. I am forever grateful. They deserve more than 5 stars!

I travel with a pack of four Kerry Blue Terriers which can be a lot for ANY vet’s office.
I was recommended to Dr. Dave by a friend to get vaccinated, and I couldn’t be more pleased.
He, and his staff, treated my pups like they were their own. Handling each one individually with clockwork precision.
I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone looking for a non-clinical pet experience.

I took my dog to Dr. Dave as he was the one who treated her when she was with the rescue who found and initially cared for her. I’ve had nothing but great service from everyone at the front desk, to the techs who are the unlucky ones to perform a regular gland expression, to Dr. Dave who always comes out to explain any treatments or just chat to see how my dog is doing. Even though it’s a drive to use Dr. Dave and his team, I will continue to seek care here.

Dr Dave deals with pets and people very well. You won't go wrong having him treat you pet while explaining the what and the why to you.

They’re first class from the moment you walk in the door: Dave has been treating our dog for the past 10 years and has always been professional and honest. Dr. Dave prides himself on providing affordable veterinary care while not sacrificing quality. Dr. Dave is BY FAR, the most kind and compassionate veterinarian I have ever come across. We do live quite a distance from VOTC, yet he always makes himself available to us to answer questions and provide guidance as needed. It’s evident that Dr. Dave is not in it for the money, but in it to care for our fur babies. Thanks for everything you do Dr. Dave!

Dr Dave and his staff are very attentive and really take great care of my 3 dogs. They are ALL very friendly and very professional.

After another Dr.attempted 2 surgeries on my dogs tumor which caused her wound to keep reopening & have chronic infections/bleeding/pain,
I decided to take her to Dr. Dave upon recommendations of so many others.
He was a bit of a drive for us but I must say, he is 100% worth it & I would continue to drive to his office again in a heartbeat for my other pets.
His staff always greeted us with kindness, gentleness & compassion.
Dr. Dave took the time to explain medically what’s happening to our furbaby, all of our options, and costs which I found to be extremely fair. I appreciated that he & the office would check in on us after our visits.
I attribute Dr. Dave to adding much more QUALITY time with our rescue senior dog.

So happy to be back to Dr. Dave with my new pup. He provided amazing care to my last dog who passed 6 years ago.
