Dr. Varma came highly recommended by my pain management doctor and since the first appointment, he has been great. At one point when he learned from my pain management doctor that I was in serious pain, Dr. Varma’s Office contacted me to come in immediately. He alleviated my fears when I was miserable and scared in the hospital after my back surgery. I can without reservation, recommend him as an excellent, considerate and compassionate doctor. In fact, I have already recommended him to one of my coworkers with severe back pain!

Dr. Varma does an excellent job of listening (while asking clarifying questions) and communicating as he identifies solutions. He values my voice and I trust his expertise and guidance.

My appointment with Dr Vikas Varma on Aug 10 was so informative. He is the first doctor who discussed the sideways curvature in my spine. Other doctors sent me to physical therapy, which was helpful in general ways, but it wasn't specifically addressing the need to straighten my backbone in any way that Dr Varma made clear that the therapy could apply to. This might bring me physical peace with less pain, and hopefully I'll be standing straighter.
I'm so glad that Dr Varma focused on the curvature ad that the physical therapy will work on that also!

The best for spine related problems. Very conservative, not rush to operate before exploring alternatives, devotes as much time as needed with plain language explanations & advice.

Explained diagnosis showed and explained MRI results gave suggestions and recommendations. Excellent people person doctor.

Dr. Varma has successfully helped me with an L4/L5 discectomy, and most recently, an acute case of a majorly seized neck. He's so good. He always offers advice on how to stay healthy after treatment.
Hopefully I'll never see him again. But if I need to, I know I'll be in good hands.
