Amanda and her team made our wedding flowers absolutely gorgeous for our September wedding at the Old Field Club! She instantly understood the dark fall vibe I was going for. I was obsessed with my bouquet! Her team also put out all of our other decorations and did so exactly how I envisioned. She was also a pleasure to work with!

Really helped me in a pinch with a corsage as they were getting ready to leave for an event. Thank you!

I live in North Carolina and ordered “get well” flowers for my sister-in-law who lives in Stony Brook New York. She’s a big fan of pastels and loved this arrangement in a wooden log – well done Village Florist!

We had my daughter’s wedding at The Old Field Club and village Florist in Stonybrook did.the flowers were amazing! Amanda was so easy to work with and the staff there is professional and very welcoming but most important were the flowers! The decoration above where the ceremony was held was magnificent and they then brought it in to decorate the beautiful fireplace.
Kudos to this wonderful place. I would highly recommend for all occasions especially weddings! And a picture is worth a thousand words so here goes with pictures!

Wedding date was September 2,2023 at The Old Field Club. I was blown away with the incredible job Deanna and Amanda did with our wedding flowers. From day one until the day of the wedding they were great to communicate with, always responded to emails, friendly, and most important went above and beyond in helping my vision come to life. We got very fortunate to win a mantle upgrade from OFC so that was an amazing additional touch. I also used them to decorate my wedding cake. Their pricing was very reasonable and I was very happy with the quality of the final product the day of the wedding. 100% recommend Village Florist and Events of Stony Brook for your wedding. I can’t wait for a future event that I can use them for:)

Friendly and professional staff, fairly priced array of flowers, and I was so happy with my order! Quaint lil part of town, parking available, and a historical site across the street!

What a wonderful staff Deanna, Jen, John and Amanda. I had a birthday party this past Sunday and I got all my floral arrangements from there. They listen to me to and went above what I expected. Thank you so much for everything!

If you're looking for a flawless wedding day experience, I would recommend reconsidering the choice of the village florist. Unfortunately, our experience with them left much to be desired.

Firstly, the boutonnieres they provided were quite disappointing. They were wrapped in green tape and consisted of a single half-dead rose and a bunny tail, which did not reflect the level of pride and craftsmanship we expected for our wedding flowers.

Moreover, we had specifically requested white orchids in water, as it was included in the Lessings wedding package. However, the florist decided to use purple orchids instead of white, which clashed with the color scheme of khaki suits and sage ties worn by the groom and groomsmen. This color mismatch was especially noticeable at the bride and groom's table, making it an eyesore.

Additionally, I had requested a cascading bouquet, but what I received was a disappointment - just 12 half-dead flowers. What was even more disappointing was the florist's lack of communication. It seemed as if they were aware of the subpar quality of their work, as they made a swift exit without checking if we were satisfied or offering congratulations on our wedding day. This level of unprofessionalism was truly disappointing.

In conclusion, while we had high hopes for our wedding flowers, the village florist fell short of our expectations in both quality and professionalism.

I have ordered many many arrangements from Village Florist for years and they never disappoint! Anything from party centerpieces, to funeral flowers and in-between Amanda and her team thoroughly deliver in a professional and timely manner with fresh flowers always. If there were any slight issue it was resolved professionally, promptly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Village Florist to anyone who is looking for high quality flowers.

Deanna was very helpful when it came to last minute flowers for my aunts funeral. She was so kind, understanding, and patient.

We got married at Coindre Hall on 10/15/22 and this team did a phenomenal job making our wedding vision come to life. They took our scrappy photos and grandiose ideas and made magic. The fall flowers were absolutely stunning. The process of coordination was easy, the people professional, and overall experience a dream. I cannot recommend this shop enough for your wedding. Village Florist did a beautiful job for my wedding at the TVI this past December. The Village Florist works closely with the venue and was able to give me a lot of insight into how to decorate the space. They were open and available to make changes I brought up and I couldn’t have been happier with the finished product of bouquets, centerpieces and decorations. They helped make my day beautiful!

My husband and I got married 1/21/23 and when I tell you neither of us have no knowledge on flowers it’s an understatement. The entire team here was the biggest help, the entire day went smoothly and my bouquet was even better than I could have imagined. Through the whole process Nicole was patient and kind and read my mind when I couldn’t find what I wanted with words. They were amazing. Thank you so much!

Amanda went above and beyond to deliver a very special boutique. Even to the point of messaging me late late at night to confirm delivery. I'm 1k miles away so Village Florist's attention to detail and care while delivering a beautiful boutique, easily earns them 5 stars!

Amanda and her staff did a beautiful job on the flowers for my wedding at the Three Village Inn! She was a pleasure to work with and everything was beautifully done, from me and the bridesmaids' bouquets to the event room decor. Everything was fall-themed, just like I had asked for, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

We got married at the Three Village Inn on September 25th and we used Village Florist and Events. When we met with Amanda we had very specific ideas of how we wanted everything to look. From the Arbor to the bouquets to the wedding reception and even the cake. She listened to us took notes and when we got to the venue weccould not have been happier! She and her team knocked it out of the park. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. I would highly recommend Village Florist!
