Vitality Psychiatry Group Practice, Albany NY

I've been with two different PAs over the past year and a half for med management. Its been a roller-coaster ride of trying multiple meds that didn't help or made things worse. Finally was trying Strattera for ADHD and having slight improvement, however I needed a refill on my script and called repeatedly for a week all last week and they still never filled it so I've been without the medication for 7 days. How am I paying $130 out of pocket for a shotty 15 minute med mismanagement appointment and can't get refills when required?

ABSOLUTELY WORST PLACE EVER! I came to this JOKE OF A PLACE because of a suicidal attempt and all my mental health diagnoses. After 4 years of being with this place I have had 3 DIFFERENT MEDICAL PHYSICIANS THAT THEY CALL PSYCHIATRISTS They put me to every 3 MONTHS RECENTLY BEFORE IM ABLE TO ZOOM WITH ROBERT GENTILE YET CHARGE MY INS COMPANY AS IF I DID ZOOM! Now YESTERDAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS IGNORANT RUDE BILLING LADY ELLE DOOLEY WHOM SCREAMED AT ME LAST MONTH SAYING I NEEDED TO CONTACT MY INS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY DIDNT PAY A SEPTEMBER PAYMENT (which I made sure to RECORD HER) WELL GUESS WHAT I WAS DISCHARGED FROM THE GROUP YESTERDAY SHE SAID BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH PAPERWORK! If something happens to me because of these people LET IT BE KNOWN IM CONTACTING ALL LOCAL NEWS AGENCIES, MULTIPLE ATTORNEYS THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING KARMA WILL PREVAIL ON THESE ROTTEN THINGS THAT WORK FIR THIS JOKE OF A MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY

I hope people will listen too me I was a patient at vitality for more then a year they sent me an email to take a urine test. Now I know for a fact if a person doesn't take the test you will no longer be subscribed your suboxone so I took the test and they said that they never received it so I ask my primary doctor to send a fax to vitality psychiatry that I took the test 2 weeks before I'm due my suboxone they discharge me saying I sent it too late now I'm 2 days away from my last off my suboxone. I been trying too call them and ask for someone in charge 10 times I have called nothing. So please don't go their they will leave you dry. I worked hard to get my life back and now they want to destroy it so I'm begging you DONT GO THEIR. I have reported them to the mental health complaints and trust me I'm going to stay on top off it. So once again if u want to get your life back don't go their. Thank you and God bless you

I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience at Vitality. From everyone from James, Ellen to Dr. Cabisudo were all amazing! I was going through a really hard time and they all made my experience better. I was treated with TMS and medication. The TMS helped tremendously with my depression and the medication is more for the anxiety aspect. TMS is a commitment because it has to be done daily for 6 weeks but they made me feel very comfortable and it became more like visiting friends then going to the doctor. Dr. C is very patient and kind. He is also very funny which put me at ease. I am so happy, relieved & grateful I found this group and Dr. C. I cannot recommend them and TMS enough! My issue is a marathon not a race but I couldn’t feel happier that Dr.c is my coach during this marathon. Thank you so much Dr. C and Vitality staff!

Vitality is great. Everything is very easy to do and the providers are great. I would recommend Vitality to anyone.

I’ve been fearful to go down the route of psychiatry because I try so hard to monitor & temper my emotions in a holistic “natural” way, but I reached a point where I couldn’t do it on my own. Dr. Hamilton took his time to ask a lot of questions and truly cared about understanding what I was going through, and thought of a thorough approach to tackle my situation. I left my appointment feeling optimistic like I was in good hands & taking the proper actions towards my mental health:)

Dr Cabisudo is very patient and he takes his time to explain the various treatment options involving MERT and TMS

In general, it can be difficult to find a doctor that understands and listens to the concerns of patients and caregivers. Vitality has been fantastic in this area. Treatment for my child has been a collaborative effort of multiple clinicians, parent and child. Trialing different treatments until we find the perfect combination.
