Received a cancelation notice on my life insurance policy even though the bank already paid the premium. Ended up having to call and make another payment so they would not cancel my policy. They would not refund the extra payment even though I sent proof that the bank had already paid the premium.

ZERO STARS! I've gone round and round in circles for hours trying to get anything done with Voya, and today is not the first time.

1. Enquired about the status of a transaction after logging on to their site.
VOYA CUSTOMER "SUPPORT" EMAIL RESPONSE: Please call our customer support line.

2. Called the customer support line.
VOYA SUPPORT LINE: Goes silent and drops after authenticating you and playing automated messages. (5x of this.)

3. Log on and tell them there is a problem with their line.
VOYA CUSTOMER "SUPPORT" EMAIL RESPONSE: Canned message saying they can't understand my English and I should call them.

4. Try logging on to the site to respond to their email. (5x of this, hoping it will magically work.)
VOYA WEB SITE: Errors out multiple times.

5. Email them using the generic email option on their logon page.
VOYA WEB SUPPORT CANNED RESPONSE: You must log on and send messages to us through the Voya site. (I'm confused emoji)

A rollover is on the cards. A company like this should not be wasting our time.

This has to be the worst company I’ve ever dealt with, I’d put a -10 if I could I’ve been in contact with them for over the span of 2 months and still trying to receive my pin although I’m being authenticated each time. The first times I’m assuming the workers where by passing my apt number so I wasn’t receiving mail from them then I’m told I can’t update over the phone then I can’t do it online. Then I finally send a fax they can’t see it then I redo it then he has to verify again then finally the guy “sends the pin, says 3-7 days “ I’ve been waiting since may 24th I cal back to see what’s the problem now and they taking about maintenance turn around time! Why didn’t the first employee say that the first time! So today on June 13 they sending something I asked for many many days ago then going to tell me it’s nothing we can do just keep apologizing like I need an apology! I’d never recommend anyone to do business with them. Very incompetent staff and obviously management isn’t doing their due diligence by ensuring their employees are stating the correct information! TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE ITS NOT WORTH IT. It’s like they are trying to prevent me from accessing my funds. The worst service I’ve ever received.

I have 401k's with Vanguard, Schwab, and Voya. Decided it's time to consolidate again. Voya is the only financial firm that has charged a fee, $140, to transfer funds to another firm. Looking forward to closing out the Voya account within the year.which you can take to the bank will cost another $140. Charles Schwab does this right and they have been for 50 years.

Horrible! I'm 66 yrs old and decided to start collecting on my money invested yrs ago. They apparently rejected the application because the notary didn't sign her name on the signature line despite her stamp and license number on the form. They not only failed to notify me of this but it took me 3 calls to different Voya agents a month later to find this out! The agents that work for them are not knowledgeable at all. I again filed the application and am awaiting my first installment. The City should drop this company!

It took me over 2 months to have Voya release my 401k funds that they were holding hostage (for fees) and have them rollover the account balance to my new 401k.
These are the most incompetent people I've ever dealt with in customer service considering it took 10+ phone calls to complete the a simple of task in which they claim to specialize. I will avoid Voya and the bank that used their service, Arvest, at all cost.
I suggest finding an alternative such as Fidelity if possible.

CEO and execs do NOT care employees' jobs. As long as they get their big bonuses, they don't hesitate to outsource.

This is aa unprofessional company that does shady work. I closed my account with them in 2019. I paid 135$ for closing the account. They sent me statement in April 2022 that I have 300$ left in my account. I had to close my account AGAIN. Voya charged me 135$ again for closing the account. I called them and asked them to wave 135$ fee that I paid second time for closing the account second time. I was told that you get charged135$ when you close the account. They opened the account second time without my approval, or my knowledge, and without telling me about it. Which is not only inefficient and also falls under criminal activity.
