They took into account her strengths and challenges to help her implement test-day strategies that really helped. Mike was also always available and responsive to answer our questions along the way. Update: we are now also using Mike Wagner for support with my sons college application process and I am extremely grateful that we made the decision to get Mike involved when we did. He has provided the perfect amount of support, guidance and when needed a gentle nudge. With Mike’s approach, my son has given real thought to why he wants to apply to every school he’s considering instead of blindly, throwing applications out there. This intentional approach made a real difference when it came time to write the essays for each school. Working with Mike has been a wonderful experience and he has helped keep us all calm and focused.

We were introduced to Wagner Prep when they were engaged to conduct SAT test prep at my daughter's NYC public high school. Mike Wagner and his team of instructors were such a great resource that we decided to work with them for individual weekly tutoring sessions via Zoom in the spring and summer prior to senior year. The prep was tailored to my daughter's needs and gaps so she could make progress on subsequent tests (more than one!). They reviewed the SAT results and pinpointed study areas to focus on. It was a real confidence builder and helped my daughter boost her scores. Recommend Wagner Prep highly!

Mike and his team really impressed me from the start. From my first conversation with Mike, I could tell that he knows what he's doing and that he really cares about the kids he works with. I originally planned to go with one of the corporate tutoring services, but realized that Mike would provide a much more personalized and tailored program for my son.
