The amazing dog walkers from Wags West have been walking our almost two-year old Australian Shepherd, Phoebe, since she was just 5 months old. We are so happy with their professionalism and the kindness that they show Phoebe during her walks. Marixa goes above and beyond to make sure that our needs are met. Phoebe had a nasty bout of kennel cough this fall and Marixa made a huge effort to ensure someone from her team could take Phoebe on solo walks during that time. We feel confident that the Wags walkers are well trained and feel very comfortable having them in our home. Thank you so much to the Wags team for taking such great care of our pup!

Unkind management. They organized our schedule only to then tell us that there 2024 walkers were booked so they wouldn’t be able to follow through. Don’t contact them- they are unkind, they hold your keys hostage, they’re impatient, and will out of the blue claim they can no longer walk your dog. Our community and our animals deserve commitment and follow through.

Marixa, Michael and each one of their walkers take the greatest care in all the dogs they walk. They’ve been walking our Australian Shepherd Ada for almost 2 years now and we are 100% at peace when she’s in their hands. Ada inevitably comes home happy and tired. Highly highly recommended.

We could not have asked for a better dog walking group. Our dog, Vega, was having a lot of difficulties adjusting to life in the City when we moved from Seattle. The group was very patient with him as he settled in. They are very detail-oriented and super knowledgeable about how to care for dogs. Our anxieties were high when thinking about leaving our dog to be with a dog walker when we went to work, but they made things so easy. Because of how good of a job they did, we were able to transition our dog well to boarding and going on walks with other groups of dogs as well. The group at Wags West were truly lifesavers and we owe them everything! We are sad to be moving away and wish we could transport them to our new neighborhood. We would recommend them any day and twice on Sunday to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable dog walking service! Our dog, Vega, would agree!

Can’t say enough good things about Wags West. Marixa and Michael, and their team have all been caring and terrific with our infamously independent dog. Add to that, they are super reliable as well as flexible, in our case, often with not a lot of notice. Our work schedules can be unpredictable and Marixa and Michael have often gone the extra mile to try and accommodate, including recently finding us a fantastic dog sitter for a last minute trip out of the country. Our dog is always well cared for with them, and that brings with it peace of mind. Highly recommend!

The Wags West team and our walker Carly specifically are the best! They took the time to get to know my initially shy pup, made sure she was comfortable and paired her with the right walking buddies. I called Wags West after I adopted a Puppy to help with walks during the day. What I got was an incredible resource of information, the kindest sweetest group of dog care takers and a really wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them. You can absolutely trust and rely on them to take wonderful care of that four legged member of the family!

It was so reassuring knowing that Tito was being taken care of by people who really cared about him. It was such a relief every day to get the email updates and know that he was ok. I was always kept in the loop about everything and the whole team was just so great to work with. They even came down on a weekend to let me into my apartment when I locked myself out! Maybe I'm the one that needed the dog walker? Haha Thanks for everything Wags!

Wags West provided a daily 45 minute walk for my dog for two years while we lived on the UWS, and I always knew that she was as safe as she could possibly be. The Wags West walkers are all terrific, responsible people and everyone at the company, including the owners Marixa and Michael are very communicative and helpful. I loved getting post-walk emails at work to know how the walk went and what my dog was up to. The only reason we stopped using Wags West was because we recently moved to Brooklyn; otherwise, of course I would have stayed with them forever! Five stars aren’t enough for the peace of mind they brought me and the joy and love they brought to my sweet dog.

If you live on the Upper West Side and are looking for dog walkers, you need to call Wags West! I felt like I hit the jackpot with them. From the first to my last day (I'm moving to Florida) they have been completely professional. It started with the first visit by Michael, to my apt to meet Dakota. I could already see that he was comfortable with dogs and knew how to handle her in a kind and gentle way. He answered all of my questions and put me at ease. They showed up every week within the scheduled time frame. Sam was the best and always good to Dakota. I felt very comfortable with him and the other walkers coming into my home. I felt truly blessed to have found them. They set the bar high for looking for new dog walkers when I get to Florida. Thank you!
