Wah Fung Fast Food reviews
16I finally figured out what was making all my bosses sleepy and leaving work early after lunch.
Still closed 6/16 and 6/27,7/30 and 8/16,9/10
Best pork on earth.
New sign now says “NO GAS” please open again
Still not open guys! I came here 3x hoping they’d be back and that i would be on time for the roast pork <3
If you want and love great food, this is the place to be. The price was affordable and the food was great. Didnt have to wait very long either. We really enjoyed the experience. Thank you Wah Fung! We will be back next year! Its right in china town with tons of other things to do near by, so stop by and support this business and their amazing staff! Thanks again!
While I was walking one block away from the store, I saw there was no line in front of the store. It was perfect time for me to buy the delicious roasted pork. However, when I arrived the store, I found the sign "NO GAS".
I hope they open up again soon!
(FYI: I went the store on 08/22/23)
I been going here for year there's no seating but who cares there's a park and the food is worth the trip. Heads up there pork (char sui) and pig (crispy pork belly almost like chicharron) but get half and half. If you just get the pork get it with the green sauce I think its a type of ginger but it brings balance to life.
The restaurant I was curious about because there was always a line going back and forth around the accommodation. Even though it was a small size, the portion size, cost performance, and taste were good. Considering the prices in New York, it's really cheap! If you go nearby, it's a small size, so it's good to take out lightly. I went in January of this year and I don't know if it's open now, but if you pass by, I recommend you to try it!
Hey, what is goin on here? Why are they closed? Anybody know? This the best pork and duck in town!
You cant go wrong with this one. Simple Nice with Pork really juicy, flavorful and great portion. A favorite to visit whenever im in New York’s Chinatown.
Closed thanks to all these social media junkies that keep the lines long and the plates of food smaller. I'm glad Con Edison has shut this place down.
This place is great but the sign on the door says they are closed bc they are "fixing the gas". Hope they open up again soon and hope they keep their prices down!
Anyone else concerned that this “gas line repair” was actually a “gas line violation? ” I’d hate for them to be facing ConEd fines and be forbidden from reopening until they’re up to code and passed an inspection. We’ve lost a lot of great restaurants in the past few years because of illegal gas hookups that may have passed the savings on to the customer but our lives at risk in the process and decided that it wasn’t worth running their energy source legally.
Great place to grab a bite and very affordable. Long line is worth the wait and moves quickly.
Delicious duck and pork over rice. Good portions, good and fast service. If there is a line it always moves quick.
• large roasted pork and chicken - pork was a bit dry compared to the chicken which i favored more.the sauce is herby and has that woody flavor profile, is it ginger? The cabbage was also yummy.notes
came pretty early at around 11: 30 so there wasn’t much of a line.initially my friend and i thought we won’t be able to finish it together but next thing you know… the container is already empty.overall, it’s a bang for your buck honest meal.
NOOOOO!
That’s alright though. They deserve a rest break. They have been working six days a week since I been coming here. Many years ago. I’ll be back
