Walgreens, Plattsburgh NY

Typically a long wait time, prescriptions randomly get closed forcing you to have to jump through hoops. Overall not on top of things here.

We've used Walgreens for as lone as I can remember since this store was built an ever since covid all you do is wait wait wait the pharmacy is very very under staffed, like this morning one person working the windows an the drive threw grrrrr

HORRIBLE PHARMACY. SLOW AND INATTENTIVE EMPLOYEES. Waited two and a half hours at the pharmacy for something they had in a bottle and all they had to do was slap a sticker on it seven people went in front of me and after all of that no apology for how long it took and they didn't have one of my two prescriptions and when I asked where I could go to get the other one they said they had no idea and that it was basically on me to figure it out only reason they got one star is because zero stars is not an option never go here!

I will never go to this location again. By far the worst. And that's not because of covid as it's been horrible since I moved out here 5 years ago. I wish the rite aid on Cornelia was still open. I never had any problems there.

Patrice in the pharmacy is rude and crotchety. She really needs a new job being as miserable she is. There are plenty of places hiring

Easy to find location. Rt 3 / Cornelia. Lots of holiday selection. 2/1. Specials on vitamins. Helpful staff. Pharmacist available. Lots of parking.

Great store. Great pharmacy. Got my covid booster. Clean store. The pharmacy is very busy and overwhelmed yet treated all with dignity and respect. Be patient please. Make an appointment online or call the 800 number first. You cannot walk in for any vaccines including flu shots. Be prepared and fill out the paperwork from the Website FIRST. Otherwise you will have to take the time to do it at your appointment time and will be waiting needlessly.

I got a PCR Covid test here 72 hours ago and it hasn't been received by the lab yet, which makes the test completely useless (it was supposed to be received by the lab the morning after the test). No one was able to tell me if/when the test was sent to the lab or verify the requisition number given to me when I did the test. The rapid test works well, but they haven't had it at this location in months. Horrible experience for the PCR test.

Do not do COVID test there, it is the worst, and distrustful place that I have ever seen. I have not received my result yet, I did my PCR test 5 days ago. I also heard that customers complain about the other pharmacy services as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE AT ALL.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! DO NOT DO A PCR COVID 19 TEST AT WALGREENS, THIS LOCATION (301 CORNELIA STREET, PLATTSBURGH NY) FOR TRAVEL SINCE YOU WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER! GET YOUR RESULTS IN 72 HOURS! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOME PLACE ELSE. THEY DEPEND ON TO MANY FACTORS (DELIVERY OF TEST TO THE LAB, LAB TESTING, MIXAPS ETC.) IT HAPPENED TO ME, AND WHEN YOU CALL THEY ARE RUDE AND HANG UP ON YOU! I WOULD GHIVE A -0 REWIEW IF I COULD! I FEEL BETTER IF MY REVIEW CAN HELP SOMEBODY! Just read the many 1 star negative reviews and you will be convinced!

Went to pick up a few things and get photos copied. They were very helpful on showing us how to do.

The only real pharmacy & drugstore in Plattsburgh! Only place I use now.

Personally I am never again bothering with the loser places in Plattsburgh that also claim to be pharmacies. Waste of time, waste of space, and just plain worthless, in my experience.

The friendliest staff ever! I have gone a few times to get my medication and pick up small stuff here and there and every time the staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. They have a great assortment of candy (they were the only place in Plattsburgh with sour skittles for a while). Great place to go if you need to pick up your prescription or some small first aid items.

Forced to wait an hour and a half to receive my vaccination, even though i had a scheduled appointment. Would not recommend especially if in a rush.

The Gentlemen who rang me out was very friendly and efficient and offered great customer service.

Walgreen's is my new go to pharmacy/store. They have some pretty neat items u can't find at the other drug stores. I highly recommend shopping at Walgreen's!

Called me a week ago to tell me my prescriptions would be ready soon. I heard nothing, so I called them today only to be informed they no longer take my insurance. I was told to call another pharmacy and they would transfer everything over. Meanwhile, I have a day left of my scripts and unless I want to pay hundreds out of pocket, there is nothing Walgreens can do. REALLY? ! If you had notified me that you stopped taking my insurance, I would have had ample amount of time to transfer to another pharmacy. No phone call, no email, no letter, no text! Nothing! Very unprofessional. Putting peoples' lives at risk by making them go without their medications is not something I consider quality care at all. Absolutely disgusted.
