Walgreens Pharmacy, Bronx NY

The female manager on duty refused to let me use the bathroom although I am a legally disabled individual. I had my cane and offered to show her my Medicare card and my Disability metrocard to prove it and she still refused. To deny a disabled person access to a restroom is horrible.

This is part of the reason I do not shop at Walgreens or get my prescriptions from there. They have horrible customer service to their consumers.

This was after I made my transaction that she refused.

Never pick up the phone for the pharmacy. Just ask for a manager and they will connect you right away. The pharmacy don’t want to pick up the phone. Rude

My issue was with the pharmacy. The pharmacist was nice and helpful. However, one of the cashiers was rude and unprofessional. She needs customer service training. I will never step foot in this walgreens again.

The worst pharmacy, ridiculous customer service, no communication and rude. Made an appointment for a Flu shot and no one communicates that I have to wait an additional 15 minutes on top of the 15 I already Waited after showing up on time, 3 people behind the counter and they act as if you're bothering them

Not to mention I really didn't want to go there since my car was broken into in their parking lot.

Ever since my experience with them, 6 years ago (when they were Rite Aid) I refused to give them my business. If I do it's cause it's my only/ last choice. Today when ee arrived there were 2 elderlies waiting also. They stated they've been waiting for 30 minutes already. And when they asked an employee about the pharmacy, they stated "the lady called and said she'll be opening at 10: 30am". They are scheduled to open at 9am but actually opened at 9: 55am. The lady from the pharmacy stated to my husband his script was not that important that he could come back later to pick it up. He informed them that he was in pain & it was very visible that he could barely walk. She continued to claim that the customer behind him were more important & to come back later. He asked if he could send me (his wife) to pick it up since he could barely walk. She said no problem to that. He even left his number with them so he could receive a text/call when it was ready. We called 2hrs later & ever hour after that because their system stated it wasn't ready. Around 4pm they stated it was ready. I rush over in car (2 blocks away). After I paid & got the script, I notice the time on the booklet stating when it was ready. It said 12: 18PM I brought it up & they wanted to act like it was my husband fault for not picking it up earlier My husband was glue to his phone& was in critical pain & I was with him THE WHOLE TIME. His pain was getting so bad I almost had to take him to the hospital so he could FINALLY get the medication he needed for his spinal injury. The medication he was waiting for since 9: 50am & didn't get till 4: 30pm

The absolute WORST Pharmacy! No customer service! There’s always just ONE person working the cashier register while the others walk around aimlessly and gather to have a chat and you’re there sensing waiting on your medication! You don’t want the job then GO home! I’m NEVER allowing my prescription to come back here ever!

The parking lot is big but at the same time is super dirty. Things are organized to some level. Very few employees and behind the counter is super full of garbage. The beverages are empty, probably because the holiday. I saw things on top of the shelf.

Why is this location even open? The customer service alone is disgusting. Waited 20 mins online to buy 1 item. 2 lady's standing behind the registers only one working and the other is standing there with her head in her hand. Everyone waiting online asked for help and was ignored. Don't waste your time or money at Walgreens.

Unfortunate the aisles are empty due to stealing.got what I wanted customer service is good.

The lady pharmacist is a mess waited over 40 mins to get a vaccine while she talk to other people and full prescriptions and looked confused as hell! I never ever had this type of experience at any other walsgreen before! But that pharmacist lady that works the evening shift doesn't have anything about her it's like she don't care she just have you wait and go along fulling prescriptions I was so annoyed yesterday she needs to stop doing that because it is not a good look!
