Tire center employees can’t even operate the phone line, don’t trust them to do ANY vehicle service. They’re lazy and they will cut corners

What's the use of having a tire changing service, and not have tires.they want you to buy online and schedule an install. I am not a firm believer in buying online. I had bad experience with orders they later say after you purchase it's out of stock. They claim they have a warehouse nearby, but why does it takes almost a couple of weeks. Walmart is not what it used to be.

I just want to think all the associates in the auto care center for assisting me with my vehicle. I started coming to get air in my tire every other week for probably a month, thankfully it was only a slow leak it was definitely time they told me. I finally talked to someone about getting tires they told me just to come in and someone will help me. They also suggested that go online and take a look to see what type of tires I might want to purchase. This was my very first time purchasing a set of tires but they assured me. Thankfully the tires that I chose they were in stock. I set up an appointment and within a couple days they were on and I was back on the road again safely with new tires. They went above and beyond helping me because I had lots of questions and they had the answers for me. You are all very much appreciated especially making myself and daughter feel comfortable. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and wish you peace and joy and a Blessed New Year's. Thanks Again.

Weekly visit to Wally World aka Walmart. Always an experience. Reminds you of "Cheers" in a way.

The guys were so great! It was quick and easy. When you go park on the side where the garage is there are the 4 car garages and a small door. Don't be an idiot like myself and walk around to the front of the store. That small door is their entrance. Save yourself the walk. Unless you want to get your steps in XD

I am so tired of businesses not updating their hours online! I took the time, effort and gas to drive to Walmart to inquire about buying 4 brand new tires from the Auto Center, and they were closed! Online hours state that they are open until 6: 00 pm, which is obviously incorrect. (I was there before 5 pm.) If businesses care about attracting and keeping customers they need to update their online information and provide great customer service! Walmart lost a large sale and alienated and angered a customer. I bought my tires elsewhere.

I visited on 12/11/21 to get service. I arrived prior to 7am (auto center opening). There were two clerks present, but no technicians. No Technicians showed up during my wait and two were scheduled to be in at 7 am. I waited until 7: 45 am before finally deciding to leave. The manager did at least try to make phone calls and try to make it look like he knew what customer service was. Fast-forward to the next day at 7 am (website says auto center open). No clerks. No Techs! I see an employee. Another customer waiting saw him too and asked for help. He said to her, “give me a minute” and proceeded to push carts with product on them to certain aisles instead of helping the customer. As I walk up to him to direct him to the Auto Center, I notice his name tag says Richard and he has another tag that says “Coach”. Who is he coaching with that attitude? I know it’s early but……. I say, How are you doing? ” He proceeded to ignore me and talk on his radio while walking away from me. Then while putting something on a shelf with his back turned to me, he says, “How can I help you? ” I say, “Are you talking to me? ” I was confused because I didn’t know customer service involved ignoring the customer and talking to them with your back turned to them. Maybe he was still having radio chat? SMH. He did make a call or two and checked to see if the auto center actually opened at 7 am versus 8 am. But this Walmart and it’s customer service needs an overhaul ASAP!

I was able to get my car in, service completed, and at a very reasonable price. The service representative and the mechanics were professional and knowledgeable of what was needed for my vehicle. They included checks that many places not have done or
Would have changed extra for.
As an added bonus, i was able to shop in the grocery dept.while i was waiting. This saved me time and money.
Thank you Walmart in Gates New York.

The lady that answered the call was helpful at the desk she helped me find where on the car it shows the recommended size of the tires needed for my car. Gave me a time frame of 2 hrs, since there was a line in front of me. My car was done in 1.5 hrs instead. Will come back for tire services for sure.

Pretty poor service with poor attitudes to boot. Went in to purchase 2 tires, caught a flat about an hour earlier, and I am told if I'll have to take them with me. I then asked if I could have someone in the shop put them on for me, as to avoid any mishaps doing it myself. The associate then said that it would be about a 4 hour wait. I said that was OK and if I could make an appointment. He then just stares at me, giving me a look like I'm bothering him. I should add, the whole time this exchange is happening, he's on his phone texting or doing whatever it was he was doing. So I again ask, if I could make an appointment and he tells me that they are booked for the day.

As someone who spent years in management, managing teams and training new individuals, I would have never hired someone like this to work for me. Dont know if he was just having a bad day, not happy with his pay, whatever the case, that was no way to treat a customer who was trying to give the company he worked for, business, and the company ends up losing business because their employees' poor attitude.

Location Chili store
Brought my car in for a simple tire patch (under warranty) and tire rotation. Waited a reasonable amount of time for it to get done. Got in my car, started it up and noticed it was loud. I immediately shut it off and turned my phone's video recording on.went back in and told the mechanic about it. He came right out and listened to it and agreed it was loud and could have been their fault. I'm still recording the entire time. The girl behind the counter noticed I was recording and stated it was against Walmart policy to record, I explained I wanted to make sure I had proof this was walmarts fault and I would like to have my car fixed. She then tells the manager, he said to stop recording or they would not continue to look at the car so I explained I would stand outside and record. Again telling him I'm just covering myself. He then instructed the mechanic to pull out my car and he was done. I called the police for a report and the officer went in to talk to the manager when she came back she said they would look at the car if I deleted the video. I refused to delete them opting to call corporate instead. End result was they pulled my car over the plates and scraped the bottom resulting in tearing the flex pipe.cost of repair was $491.00. Walmart took responsibility for the mistake and made it right. Shout out to Michael the mechanic for being so awesome.

I had to take my car back after they replaced a leaky TPMS sensor because the tire started leaking even worse than before they "fixed" it. The woman who did my intake had the audacity to question whether my warrantee from Sam's was valid, even though they accepted it without question two weeks earlier. Then she told me that they don't warrantee TPMS sensors, so for them to even look at it they'd have to charge me $15 and, if it turned out to be their fault "we'd work someting out. "

The issue ended up being a leak from the rim because they didn't mount the tire correctly when they replaced the sensor, but since the associate who checked me out was not part of the original conversation, I had to argue with her to get the charge waived.

I had to provide the new TPMS sensor because they didn't stock one that was compatible with my vehicle, so I don't expect them to stand behind the part and I'd have no problem paying a diagnostic fee if they determined that the new part was a lemon. But basic customer service says that when the customer comes back a short time after getting a repair, complaining that the problem you tried to fix has gotten worse, that you at least look at it to be sure you didn't screw it up.

Our other vehicle is going to be due for new tires before too long. I know where I won't be getting them.

For the second time this Walmart auto center was not open during posted hours. I called twice, no answer. When I arrived I was told they were closed an hour before what’s posted on the door and online. Super unprofessional!
