Staff member lied about a policy that didn't exist so they didn't have to install my tires. Found out with management after.

Usually has tires for my vehicle in stock. The wait is about 1-1.5 hrs regardless of what service you are getting.

Nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone. So long as you're asking them to do something simple (oil change, tire rotation, etc.) They get the job done correctly for a cheap price and in a (somewhat) timely fashion. Bonus that you can shop while you wait.

No one ever answers the phone on auto and when you do get to talk to someone they are booked out a week or two. No more walk-in oil changes.

Less than week ago I purchased a car battery for my vehicle from a different walmart location. After determining the battery wasn't the issue, I attempted to return it for a refund at about 3pm 12/1/22. I was met with a scowling woman who, before the words were entirely out of my mouth, demanded to know "what's wrong with it? " - to which I replied "nothing, I just don't need it" she then said, "well, we have to test it to make sure it works to see if you can get a refund or not, and that'll take between 30-90 minutes". She then proceeded to take my contact info and I was given a slip of paper to redeem upon returning for my "refund". Because I had just purchased the battery and was not able to even run my vehicle for any amount of time, I deduced that there wouldn't be an issue. The battery was hardly used and the vehicle sat for two days with no power being used or discharged in any way. So 90 minutes later, upon returning to find out why I hadn't yet received any communication concerning the status of this battery testing, I was then volleyed from 3 different employees to a 4th male employee that was present upon my first visit. He insisted there was an issue with the battery and tried to contact us, though no call was received whatsoever. Then the original grouchy woman from the beginning appeared from the garage with a long slip of paper with a bunch of numbers printed on it, insisting it was evidence of a battery test which had proven to them the battery was dead. She then informed me they did me the favor of charging it, however it was, at this point, ineligible for a refund. This seemed very odd to me, as this was a 3-year warrantied battery that had virtually no use whatsoever in any running vehicle. Furthermore, the failed battery test slip that was given me could have been from any battery at any time, not necessarily the one I was attempting to return. Something seemed very off, the woman seemed determined to say NO from the very beginning of our interaction. My spouse and I discussed it and we chose to go to the original location where we purchased the battery in question. Within 5 minutes, our refund was issued with no questions asked and service with a smile. If you want to have a good day, avoid this wal-mart at all costs. In times when budgets are tight and holidays are near, ripping somebody off over $100 is just plain malicious, I can't imagine what else goes on with this type of behavior unchecked.
If you see the snaggle-toothed grumpy frumpy woman in the auto center, RUN! Nothing but time-wasters and scam artists. It's people like that who perpetuate baby boomer degenerate stereotypes.

I went to a local place for an oil change. Asked for the basic one, and was quoted $100 for full synthetic because the make of my car "recommends it". Left that place and went to Walmart. I asked for the "pit crew" service for $24.88. They didn't try to upsell me like the other place did. Everyone at Walmart was very nice. Will definitely be taking my car there in the future.

Got 4 tires they installed stripped the threads had to go back q month later to get the lug nuts off and my rotation went back to replace 2 tires and again a lug nut stripped sent me to Mavis to get it removed only for the stud to brake. Walmart cross ran the threads and won't take responsibility won't ever do business with them again and will be furthering legal action for the 2 days of physically being at the store trying to figure it out!
