Waterfront Bicycle Shop, New York NY

Hands down the best bike shop I've been in NYC. Reasonable price for a shifter problem, and they tuned the shifter better than all the other shops I've been to so far in NYC. Being friendly is the cherry on top. I will bring my bike here for future tune ups and seasonal cleanings, and will recommend the place to others.

Absolutely loved this place! They were very flexible with my rental. I was there for the weekend and was only supposed to rent the bike for the day, I called explaining my short stay and they gave me a very affordable weekend rate. Would recommend this shop to anyone I know visiting NYC. Biking is the way to see the city!

I came to Waterfront Bicycle to buy a lock for my Mountainbike. I also ended up getting wheellocks. Everything was attached to my bike straight away. The prices were super fair. Highly recommend this shop!

Rented a super solid and comfy bike for the day for only $20! Great quality bike! Got a helmet, lock and basket- what a steal! Super nice staff and this will be the only place I come in the future!

Excellent service. Had a great time in NY, cycling the Big Apple. The security lock provided was very usefull, allowing me to stop and have lunch. The rental cost was 20$ for a day.

So I had an old folding bike that I had fall apart on me. I gathered all the pieces but couldn’t find this little spring that feel out so I came here. Showed them my problem. Dude opens a drawer pulls out literally the perfect spring to fit my bike. I wanted to pay them but they won’t let me so the best I can do is write this review. That was last year and today I remember they’re kindness. Thanks again I’ll be back next time I’m in the city.

Very nice to visit this shop to tune in, tune up and keep on biking baby. Christian is the owner and is super nice and quick in making bike repairs. Conveniently located bike shop with helpful staff! Located right off the west side bike path, this shop could not be better placed. The staff is super friendly and able to accommodate any of your bicycle needs, big or small.

Great little shop! Reasonable prices for full-day rental of hybrid bikes. Really close to the Greenway on the Hudson side. Staff was super helpful. I was most impressed by the quality of the bike that I rented. A nice hybrid/day-commuter type of bike in EXCELLENT condition. It was really tuned up nicely and shifted like butter. Brakes were great. This was WAY better than renting a Citibike from a rack in Manhattan, particularly since I wanted to do a 20+ mile ride. I wanted to use a good bike and not break the bank doing so. Check these guys out. They're great.

Had one of my crank arms stripped where the right side pedal screws in, they had a new one in stock and replaced the entire crankset and new pedals for 97 bucks, which is really cheap for actual Shimano parts, super friendly service from the lady there and everything was said and done in 10 minutes I literally couldn't be happier. Definitely coming back

I just got a flat fixed. They were amazing. Haven’t seen someone as efficient and prompt with their service. I was in and out in 5 min with a new tube!

Their prices are super reasonable as well. Had someone on UWS charge me $40 for what these guys only charge $10. They definitely won a new customer for life today.
