I had a great experience as a tenant for three years. They were always kind and responsive and were flexible with me during the move out process, which I really appreciated.

Had a one year lease in one of their brand new buildings, and it was truly a great place to live. The design of the building and the apartment was incredibly thoughtful and really felt like home. Management also sought out ways to improve the building by adding furniture to the backyard and a folding table to the laundry room. I have to say that management was incredibly responsive. Most of my queries were resolved within 24-48 hours and in a satisfactory way, which really does make a difference and make them stand out amongst other management companies.

These people are extremely rude. Not helpful at all. Gives attitude too. Unprofessional on all fronts.

It’s been nothing but a pleasure having waterfront as my apartment management company.
Always there when I needed and the most friendly staff.
Highly recommended

2 year lease In Brooklyn and was a happy tenant and was treated nicely. When problems arose they were taken care of quickly, and I appreciate the staff. Would recommend

I wish I could give this place zero stars. NEVER use this company. They are absolutely incompetent and can’t even get anything right— including the spelling of the names of my roommates and the amount for rent on a lease. Not only did they fail to disclose a bed bug infestation six months before we moved in, but they neglected to fix and clean the apartment before we even moved in. My whole year with this company has been absolute hell ranging from problems with getting assistance for a gas leak, getting an inspector for the bed bugs and last but not least, answering questions or concerns in general. Their customer service is pitiful and absolutely rude and condescending. I have never dealt with a property management company as poorly as this one. By the end of my lease, when they scheduled an inspection on a Friday, they never even showed up or apologized for the inconvenience. And on top of that, when they finally released our security deposit, all our checks bounced and the company kept lying saying it was ready when it was not ready at all. These people are absolute scum and the worst kind of management you could deal with in New York City. After one year of pulling out my hair, I can confidently say they are a tenants worst nightmare and should not even be allowed to lease property. They have gotten away with too much and don’t even apologize. You are warned. Do not use these people for your management and always check before you sign a lease. That was my first mistake.

Honestly, they are great, especially compared with most management companies in this part of Brooklyn. Serious issues are dealt with immediately, and they are good about replacing things that wear out right away. They do raise the rent when they can, but they are not a non-profit organization – their goal is to help their clients (the building-owners) make money. Moses, one of the managers, has an unusual sense of humor that is surprising if you’re not used to it, and that may explain some of the low reviews. I’m a Jewish guy from Brooklyn so I just find it funny.

The worse management company you can have for your property! Is absolutely a nightmare to live in one of their buildings.

The people writing bad reviews are new to New York and have unrealistic expectations. Waterfront does a better job maintaining their buildings than any management company I have dealt with in Brooklyn.

They respond quickly to ordinary maintenance issues and immediately to crises. At one point, my shower faucet broke at 11 pm and the entire apartment was about to flood. I called the emergency line at 11 pm and a Waterfront staff member fixed the issue within 20 minutes.

Obviously they had an interest in resolving the problem right away to avoid flood damage, but it would have been a disaster for me to replace my belongings and move, and most landlords would not have had a system in place for addressing the problem so late at night.

I’ve lived in two buildings managed by Waterfront. Look, maybe the receptionist is not the most polite person in the world, but they deliver on what is important. They have some of the best buildings in north Brooklyn and take care of them properly. What is there to complain about?

I would avoid any property managed by this company. Considering the numerous emails and time I wasted scheduling repairs which then did not happen. I will keep this review shorter than it should be. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

I agree with all previous reviews. They are so poorly managed, disorganized and completely unresponsive. It took filing a 311 complaint before they finally got around to fixing a water leak in the bathroom ceiling. Unreal.

There is a roof leak in our living room and they have decided to simply ignore the issue. Also, when contacting them they give you a run around and drive you nuts until you hang up. When you move in they basically place the blame on you because "you chose to move in", just don't do business with them.

Hands down one of the nicest places to live. Unbelievable maintenance. All the reviews above are from competitors. Spectacular living space
