Weinberg Nature Center reviews
7Great place to host your private party for kids. The staff brought out animals for petting and played games with kids, keeping them engaged while learning. The facility was pretty old and need update. BTW, don’t forget your bug spray….
I almost don't want to write a review, only because i want this place to remain a secret. It's where i go to "saftey meeting" and take introspective walks. Great place to take your significant other, hold hands and rekindle that spark with each other.
Great place for a stroll, or to make your way into Saxon Woods for a run!
I was first introduced to Weinberg Nature Center 6 years ago by a fellow rehabilitation specialist. It was exciting to finally find a nature preserve to be able to release wildlife back into nature after being rehabilitated. 6 years ago there was only the occasional deer wandering through and or course chipmunks. Today it is a thriving ecosystem with many different species. We even have red squirrels now.along with raccoo, opposum, fox! There has been a great interest in Weinberg by my students at IEY Middle school. They even raised money to build one of the release pens. It has been comforting to know that in a world less concerned with the environment and the species in it that Weinberg is a safe haven for them. The animals rehabbed are WILD ANIMALS and it is their right to be set free. So glad it is in a preserve like Weinberg.
What a great place to go for a quiet walk through the woods. Deer, birds, chipmunk and snakes are some of the animals we've seen on our walks.
Stopped here for a break from driving while heading from PA to CT. Beautiful trails.
