Wellcare Neurology - Vikas Agrawal MD, Yonkers NY

Dr. Agrawal was my fathers neurologist at St. Johns hospital in Yonkers NY. My dad is 55 yrs old and a functioning man with parkinsons. Despite his prescription and what he was clearly told about his meds, this doctor still decided to double my dads parkinsons meds and my dad basically turned into a vegetable. On august 8,2023 my dad was completely unresponsive and trembling without the ability to communicate. Later that day the nurses were told to give him even more, luckily we were there to stop them. Next day he stops by and says my dad needs meds for seizures because hes shaking and because he said so. We declined and long story short they gave it to him anyway along with blood pressure medication he didnt use prior to this ordeal. On 8/9 my dad started being a bit more himself and even more so today, 8/10. Do not leave your loved ones unattended with Dr. Agrawald and if you refuse any medication get it in writing because he can overwrite anything you say verbally.

Hands down the worst doctor I have ever seen. He is rude, dismissive and uncaring. He talked over me. HE DESERVES ZERO STARS. VIKAS ARGAWAL LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS! ITS NOT ABOUT YOU!

If you look in the dictionary for the definition of rude, incompetent and ignorance, you will see this doctor. This is the worst neurologist ever. He is very arrogant and entitled. He is very dismissive and uncaring. He actually ordered my sick mother out of his office because she asked him an unrelated neurological question. Vikas has no respect for the elderly. This doctor lacked bedside manners. He yelled at my sick mother. Talked down to her as if my mother is a pediatric patient. He kept going on and on about MRI. I don't know why he is still practicing. His office is dirty and disgusting. I do not know why this person is allowed around geriatric patients. Please stay away from him. Go to other neurologists. This practitioner is pompous, overbearing, and a bully! I wish I can give him zero star. Dr. Vikas, you need to change or stop practicing.

This "doctor" is by far the worst. I went there because I had very weird symptoms due to some nerve on my neck being pinched. The first thing he told me was that he' is not a pshyciatrist and I should seek one, without doing any test to begin with. Worst doctor ever. Went to another doctor the following week and fixed my problem. This doctor really sucks

Terrible experience. I usually see Dr. Dhallu in this office but, one day he was not there and I had to see Dr. Agrawal. I saw him because I was having extreme weakness and pain. He states "everyone has headaches. I mean, its nothing special. " The reason I am going to this is office is to confirm or disapprove any signs of MS. He literally saw my CT scan and said they were lesions but nothing to be alarmed, even if I am having symptoms. He told me there was not much anyone can do for MS so ilI basically just have to deal with it. I cried going home because anything done on that day, was horrible service. He was very rude and dispassionate about everything. I finally saw Dr. Dhallu afterwards and he spoke to me and we are scheduling a spinal tap to confirm MS. Im only coming here for Dr. Dhallu. I will not see Dr. Agrawal again.

It's a shame that I can't give this doctor even 1 star. But I have to in order to be able to post this.
To begin with, he did not examine me physically, no reflex check, no range of motion exam.nothing. I went to him with a concrete diagnosis of the brain which is explained in all text books as progressively worsened by nature over time. He neglected all of my complaints and insisted that I am having migraines. I explained further that I also have cervical problems which when aggravated create debilitating headaches. I am forgetful, my speech is also affected and I am off balance. He sent me for an MRI, which came back normal. When I asked him about my previous diagnosis, he had the audacity to tell me that different radiologist interpret studies differently. Having worked in the medical field for 20 years, I know this is true, however, had he specified on the MRI referral that I was following up on my diagnosis, I know that the result would have been different. I kept going back to the fact that my head is sensitive to the slightest bump on the road and I know that migraines do not cause this. He also argued with me about having had an MRA in the past. I provided a copy of the report and he still told me that what I had was an MRI. The report clearly states MRA on the very top. Since I know what I am talking about and there was nothing he could do for me, he turfed me to a neurosurgeon. He got rid of me and that was the best thing he did for me. I took that referral with a copy of my results and ran. I am never looking back. He didn't even go over the results of my memory test. I went over that myself. For anybody that needs more help than that of migraines, don't bother. I was sooo aggravated by this white sweat sock wearing, dirty collar lab coat wearing doctor. Sir, please.wear some black, blue, brown or grey socks with shoes and get a new lab coat. Ring around the collar is ur diagnosis. At least launder ur labcoat. Never looking back.and ur staff does more eating than working. That mini fridge up front has more food than medicine. The last time I checked ur not supposed to have food or beverages in the same fridge as vaccine and or injections. I'm done.with that. I'm clear!
