Wesley Bronson, MD reviews
21Lower back surgery with Dr Bronson, he was great all the way through recovery and follows up. Very caring.
Dr. Bronson has a competent and accommodating staff. From my initial conversation with Delsi, to the front desk staff and each step after (PA, Radiology and MD assessment), I felt confident in Dr Bronson’s process.
As a health care professional in NYC, I know what it takes to build a solid team. Providing quality health care and a positive patient experience is what solidifies my trust that I am in good hands with his. Grateful.
All of the staff at this office are very kind and helpful. Dr. Bronson was very friendly, informative, and understanding as well.
Immediately after surgery I have no more pain in my fingers arms and neck the weird feeling I was feeling in my left leg was gone. I haven't been able to turn my neck in years without turning my whole body.
Thanks Dr Bronson great job!
Very friendly and positive energy at all tiers of management. I would highly recommend the practice to everyone.
After his review, Dr. Bronson took the necessary time to explain my multiple MRI’s, X-rays and CT scans to rule out and describe any issues. His knowledge and thoroughness was very much appreciated and I recommend him highly!
Dr. Bronson is a great Doctor, very knowledgeable and help ease my back pain. I highly recommend!
Doctor Bronson was the surgeon for my surgery. He is an excellent doctor. He is very professional, kind and caring to his patient needs. He gets 5 stars from me.
I underwent spinal fusion surgery by Dr. Wesley Bronson and Dr. Baron Lonner in early March 2022. A week after being discharged, I complained to Dr. Bronson that my back felt abnormally swollen and painful. He quickly dismissed my concerns, saying "I'm not worried about that. " I had to suffer for another week until I saw Dr. Bronson for my first post-op visit. At that visit, the X-rays revealed that the surgical hardware had begun loosening and pulling away from my spine causing a collection of fluid and swelling on my back (the same swelling I had described to Dr. Bronson a week earlier).
As a result of the failed and incompetent surgical approach taken by Drs. Bronson and Lonner, I was forced to undergo a second surgery in late March 2022, costing me additional time away from work, school, my personal life, and negatively affecting my mental health. The second surgery also worsened my scarring, creating a very wide keloid scar.
As an active and fit young adult, my chances for having a successful surgery should have been significantly higher. Instead, the services rendered by Drs. Bronson and Lonner and the Mount Sinai Spine Center were significantly below the standard of care and were negligent. Despite their own medical failures, my insurance was billed more than 1.3 million dollars for both the original and revision surgeries. It is unfathomable that Drs. Bronson and Lonner would feel entitled to be paid twice when they failed to do their jobs competently the first time.
I am currently receiving post-op care at a different facility and with a different care team because I no longer trust Drs. Bronson and Lonner with my health and safety. I am also pursuing my legal options. I strongly encourage those reading this review to seek care elsewhere, especially individuals of color.

Dr. Bronson analyzed my back pain, radiation of excruciating pain to my leg, and weakness in my leg due to herniated disk pressing my upper lumber nerve.
I got enough information to choose the best options for my recovery process.
About 5 weeks ago I had my back surgery with an instant relief of my back and leg pains. About three weeks later my pain disappeared.
I am very happy with the performance of Dr. Bronson.
The doctor was very kind professional and Listened and answered all my questions very happy with the care I received.
It was OK but did not like the diagnosis or The prognosis this was too fast for me but we will see after the therapy and after the needle that they give me in my back how I feel I don't want to jump the gun
Very professional, listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions to my satisfaction
Explained everything really well. Had no questions after the visit. Very thorough. All his staff were very friendly and courteous
Excellent Surgeon THE BEST SPINE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD.
I’ve had 7 spinal surgeries and he’s the ONE that FIXED MY BACK and gave me the most detailed description of my past procedures and how he was going to address the scar tissue and the internal part of my spine.
I was very Lucky and Blessed to have Dr Wesley Bronson be my surgeon and i am eternally grateful to this man and to his staff and to MT SINAI HOSPITAL NYC!
If there is a 10 STAR RATING HE GETS IT!
Great caring and putting the medical words into your level to make sure what are the indications, preventive care and options to go through included physical therapy, injection and treatment for surgery. I suggest to see doctor for any opinion you are looking for
First time saw Dr. Bronson for sciatica. Initial appointment went perfect, great doctor, nurses, technicians, administrative personnel everyone
First class medical service. I had aggravated my bulging discs in my neck, and was in pain for two weeks. My prior cervical and spinal issues were x-rayed, MRIed and diagnosed by a world class colleague of Dr. Bronson 12 years earlier. He no longer accepts my insurance, so I went with the highly rated Dr. Bronson. My wait time was fairly short (I was early), and Dr. Bronson’s assistants took my medical history and added my detailed prior diagnosis. Then straight into new X-rays. A few minutes after that very professionally handled procedure, Dr. Bronson met with me. He is personable, direct and inspires confidence. After some further questions about pain location, numbness and tingling, Dr. Bronson showed me the exact pain causing discs at C2-C3 and showed me how the discs were narrowed and explained how as I age some deterioration and thinning can occur. He prescribed targeted cortisone shots in these two locations. Once the pain is gone, he recommended the only thing that has truly ever worked to prevent pain: daily physical therapy exercises to help maintain the spacing between the vertebrae and minimize the existing problems. I learned way back in 2010 that no Oxycodone or Vicodin can kill severe spinal pain, there is no Aleve or 8 hr Tylenol that can do the job. I am a realist and appreciated Dr. Brendon’s pragmatic approach after 10 days of prednisone and muscle relaxants could not solve the problem at its actual source.
