West Marine reviews
4One of the best local stores in Rochester for motor and sailboat parts and goods. Great knowledgeable staff. Good return policy as well.
Terrible service. John is very disrespectful. Staff knows nothing about the products they sell.
I have memories as a child of my dad bringing me to this store. To get life jackets, ropes, all things boating. He was a charter captain but also kept our family busy on the water with fun. As I try to recreate that experience for my family today, we made our first trip there with my kids. Rob was super helpful in picking out a gps/fish finder combo and some accessories. He reminiscent about times my father came in and made it memorable and personable! We weren't rushed even though it ended up being close to closing time. We felt taken care of and will be back as we grow into our boating career and our exploration of lake Ontario!
Worst loyalty system ever. Worst. I spend thousands of dollars every spring. They always ask for my phone #. Right away they know my name from that. I never ever get ANY POINTS. Today they told me that while I was “in their system” I wasn’t enrolled for points. What ever TF that means. For years I spend $$ at West Marine, a loyal customer with a west marine card and I get NOTHING. ZIP NADA. Worst loyalty program in the History of Loyalty Programs. Horrible
