Well… this is my local hair salon and the only hair salon that I will allow to touch my hair and dye it. Elizabeth the hairstylist I have had for on multiple occasions is truly one of the kindest people ever. Makes me feel at peace and comfy from the moment I walk in until I leave. Aside from that just so knowledgeable about hair and only wants the best for her patients hair health. Communicates about anything and everything she is going to do to your hair and makes sure you feel good about confident even before anything is done. I Can go on but in All, the best. I leave the salon eveytime so happy and feeling so beautiful

I've followed Scarlett across rivers and train lines for several years now and for good reason. I come from a very conservative background and have always felt a little self conscious walking into salon's where I'm usually the only straight man, and trying new things with my hair.

She's incredibly effective at understanding what I'm going for and making that happen, encouraging what she knows I want to do even if I don't say it in so many words. But most importantly, Scarlett has helped me own my care for personal style and appearance, just by being the passionate and adventurous artist of looks that she is.

And West Vibe has been a great supporting venue, with stylish ambiance, and staff is always super friendly and attentive.

I am SO happy I discovered West Vibe Salon. It is such a chill neighborhood spot with the BEST, most professional, highly skilled and creative team. The fabulous Zara does my color and she has transformed my look in the most subtle way. My hair color now beautifully compliments my skin and gives me a glow. I had long been hesitant to do anything but a single process color but Zara eased my concerns and gave me a wow factor. I’ve seen similar results on other clients from other stylists. The blow outs I’ve received from Zara and Alex have been perfection with the style lasting for days.

I have been going to West Vibe for my haircut since I moved to Hell's Kitchen in May 2021. It's truly a lovely neighborhood salon with top-notch services. Cesar is my stylist and never fails to give me consistently high-quality haircuts. When I have a time crunch, Cesar will always try his best to accommodate my schedule and finish the haircut in time without sacrificing quality. Not to mention the fun conversation we have each time I see him. I have recommended West Vibe and Cesar to multiple friends who live in Hell's Kitchen, and if you do too, please consider this place!

The staff is friendly and I like the salon itself, but had a handful of different issues that tainted my experience here. While I didn’t speak up about all, we were able to resolve the ones I did mention to them.

They take the time to create a consistently high-quality experience. The owner Maria has done my hair for years and I always leave happy. I get a cut, balayage highlight (baby highlights or half/partial and money piece at different times), and styling that takes into account my request for low-maintenance styling and color only every six months. It always grows out nicely. Yes, it's a little expensive, but it's a good value for an expensive-LOOKING cut and color. They are proficient not only in lifting natural dark blonde to lighter blonde but also in lightening very dark hair and I love seeing their specialty work with bright colors and edgy cuts for other clients. Everyone comes out looking great, and you can see the care these artists put in every service. And they use products that are gentle on hair (I've noticed much less breakage using the Alfaparf products they sell).
