Western Beef Supermarket, Bronx NY

I've haven't been there in a while, but the store looks splendid. Excellent parking area with a small strip mall. They have such a large selection of items. What I love is that as soon as you walk in they have a large display of fruits and vegetables. Even though the prices are a little high. Oh yes, the staff was very helpful to me.

The reason I’m writing this review is because it gets me mad the fact that the supermarket closes at 9pm today Sunday and is only8: 52pm
When to only get a juice and the security did not let me in. 17 years going to this supermarket and just did not let me in to only get a juice. But I bet if I was a woman looking good, would let her in with no problem.shm

DO NOT BUY MEAT FROM HERE. I bought skinless chicken thighs today—I drove to my house which is 6 minutes away (it’s the winter and it’s brick), I put the chicken in the fridge.

I went to prep the chicken and sliced open the plastic. That stench hit me in the face. Disgusting. Lost my appetite.

Very nice.but they should have more space to walk.and i liked to shop there.very low prices. Good.thanks

Usually items are good but I got this ham and omg it smells like death, I’m not trying to go back and get my money back I’m a bit far

Very long lines and not enough cashier's. Food seem fresh and plentiful. Most staff only talk Spanish. But helpful.

Western Beef supermarket has always been a great place to shop at as well. They're employees don't taunt, and threaten me, so; since I haven't been there in a while? As of now? They get five stars!

Nasty Supermarket manager are busy on cellphone and following all customers like all customers are shoplifter and they are very nasty with customers when they talk to them.

I always shop here, my go to place for all house needs never fail me, different variety and brands of all your favorites, foods snacks deli and household products.

Decent employees, big variety of produce "update I had a misunderstanding with a employee and I feel they should have more decorum when addressing a consumer because quite frankly I'm a economic benefit to the establishment, Whenever you buy something, you enter into a contract. For a contract to exist, you have to offer to buy something, the seller has to accept your offer, and something of value has to be exchanged. Lawyers refer to these "elements" (essential parts) hopefully the managers will address this issue Thursday Nov 4 2021

Loving that they are upping their vegan items up but they're still too expensive for my taste just cuz it being labeled "vegan". But I still go to get my cultural/international foods at an okay price.

Cashier had an attitude. Was overcharged on 3 items. Then charged me a $4.25 for 3 paper bags on top of that. Won't be going back.

Everything I purchased was old. With a week everything but the milk spoiled. I use to really like this place a lot. I use go every month. I went on the third of August. And now no sales every price went sky high. No decent meat, no oil no ice teas in case it was terrible. I brought 6 ears of corn. It didn't even last 2 days it turned green and slimy. I will not be going back ever again. Untill they to the kind groceries they use to have. That place is awful. Use caution when visiting

The sales are good but u wiukdnwvet buy meat from any Western Beef. You really have to look at what you buy. The lightnings in the meat department is very deceiving. The meat look fresh but it is not.

I hate all Supermarkets in the Bronx in the zip code 10451-59 all Dominicans owners who sell 3rd rate Meats, Produce & Flowers
Really. Really. Scary! I shop in Little Italy on Authur Avenue. Whole Foods.
