Western Beef Supermarket, Staten Island NY

Some items are higher priced here than at SR or S&H. Cold-cuts are usually fairly priced. The fruits/veggies are always fresh & prices are good. The meat selection is extensive, butcher will cut your meat anyway you want. The fresh baked bread is scrumptious BUT early morning is best. Other shoppers are careless.touch bread with bare hands.leave the sliding doors open. The lines at the registers are very long, most shoppers do social distance. REMEMBER, early morning is best.

Always a delightful reason to leave home and spend time doing groceries here at Western Beef Supermarket, always plenty of good things, like fresh vegetables and a greater variety of fruits to incredible staff and their prices are always, "the best of the competition"

If you love being sold spoiled chicken this is place fore you. Employees without masks sneezing all over the cold cuts, this place is a covid-19 hot spot waiting to happen. I have never seen a place we're the employees do not care about wearing masks like this.

Good prices. Lots of international (predominantly Latino) selection. Variety to the max. Got all the regular brands and then some other random ones. Floors are always dirty, though. Not sure why. For years and years. Regardless, definitely worth it for money savers and cheapskates.

OH BOY! The workers are not wearing masks, the managers are not wearing masks! (i follow the science)
The Aisles are packed with product FORCING people to be close to each other!

Really didn't want to give a star but the store has 12 Cashier's and only 2 working I've been online for 20 mins already FML update it’s oct 2018 I will never I mean never buy meats from this place or any western beef ever almost all the meats i purchased are bad I’ll still to the meat market down the block by stop and shop and shop rite.please don’t feed your kids the meats from here God forbid they get food poisoning please be very aware

Very crazy on the weekends and deals are somewhat reasonable but I would go elsewhere if it wasn't so close to my home. Also staff is young and not coordinated. Just be prepared for craziness and long lines on the weeknds

All the money they make, you think they would supply quality bags. The bag broke and my 2 liter of coke went under cars. Horrible bags. I refuse to go back because of that. I hear it's been like that for years. They obviously don't care

I absolutely will not be buying anymore groceries from this establishment. I had bought a few frozen breakfast meats from the frozen food aisle that were spoiled. The package was dated 2015 (that was 3 years ago!) That is absolutely absurd. Someone could get sick and then they would definitely have a lawsuit on their hands. This Western Beef location needs to be managed and sorted better. Such a shame!

A place to get some Latino products but thats it place is not clean, conveyor belts full of meat juice and spills.meats selection ok but dont buy preseasoned its not good.vegetables prices are decent but too many undesireables outside hanging out

Bought spoiled meat on more than one occasion. Limited selection for natural and organic products. Too expensive. I like the staff a lot. Prices not so much!

Having security in this western beef is a waste of time. Not only is the security guard unprofessional but he's dealing drugs right in front of the public. Instead of protecting this establishment he's only making it worse. Do not go to this western beef employees are rude and unprofessional. And there's always vehicles parked on the fire zone, which is also the entrance of the supermarket. I can't stand this place. Real eyesore!

Need to put a plexy glass to cover fish from shoppers. Stop xeroxing receipts when you want to return something (it's 2018.who does that?) Clean up the trash outside of the store.get new shopping carts and hand baskets.

Shopping and prices are ok but the time taken at the register lines is mind blowing even if we have a cart full of stuff or just a couple of items at the express register.

The worst super market I ever been in. They should shut it down and have an owner who cares about there business

Not very clean, security is rude and the employees, especially at the register, aren't very focused

The worst supermarket in staten island! Staff are rude to customers. This place stinks literally smells gross. The fruit are old and rotten looking. Their meats are rotten not fresh the chicken smells the beef looks grey instead of red. The lines are always long on every register. The prices are expensive never any real sales. The staff are mean and judgemental. DO NOT SHOP HERE ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

The store has what I need when I need it. Sometimes that's not the case like all stores. It depends on what I'm looking for.

I.t work o boy well at first it needs cleaning majorly but it was okay shopping but I haven't taken a picture when I received the notification would have to ask Alexa to drop photo in Alexa please drop in photo of Western Beff

Check your receipts every time, they like to charge the same item multiple times, also check dates on items because a lot tend to be expired from personal experience
