An employee, Christopher, was extremely helpful and assisted with my needs, without any reservations or hesitation. An extremely polite young man.
Had a place to fish from shore. Took my daughter fishing there. Able to reach the lake from there to fish too.
I don't own a boat, but this place has a large public parking lot from which you can walk out to that little spit of land between Braddock Bay and the lake, and it's a fantastic place for birdwatching. I am grateful to the marina for providing this lot with easy access to this spot, and want to express my appreciation to them!
The facility is great. I almost sprung for a slip rental, but on our way out through the middle of the marked channel, we encountered a submerged, unmarked hazard and spun our prop. Wish it had been marked. Also, depths were sounding at less than 2 feet through much of the channel. Really like the ramp though. Wish folks hadn't parked all over the turnaround at the end of trailer parking. Made it a many step process to get my nearly 60+ feet of truck and trailer turned around.
