Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, Yonkers NY

I just lost my 23 year old son unexpectedly 20 days ago, while he was on vacation in Las Vegas. I didn’t know what to do or who to turn to. I am in New York. Unfortunately a friend of my sons had passed a year & a half ago and I remembered that they used Whalen & Ball. I called them, explained the situation and that I needed to get my son home ASAP and have a service. Mind you I have never attended a funeral before & didn’t know what to expect. I first spoke with & met Chris Ryan he asked us to come in and we went over all the details. They took care of my sons transportation from Las Vegas to LGA to their funeral home. We went over packages and what I’d like to have done. I was blown away with the care and compassion I received. They didn’t try to upsell me on anything. If anything they tried to help me on what I could save on. They even donated a brand new suit, shirt and tie for my son to wear. The day of the service Mike was there to handle the program, he was warm, inviting and caring. We had so many people that came they even opened up a second room, we went over with our allotted time and it wasn’t even an issue. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. They even called me the next week to check in on us to see if there was anything else they could do. In the unfortunate event that a friend or loved one does pass I highly recommend Whalen & Ball Funeral home on 168 Park Avenue Yonkers, NY. You will not be disappointed.
