A new favorite venue for wedding photography! The castle is a stunning backdrop for a wedding ceremony. The back patio overlooking the golf is also amazing. And the staff always runs a smooth wedding day. Can't wait to get back.

Got married 10/27/22 and was so impressed by everyone working at Whitby. Niki was great and answered all the questions we had. Ralph and Rose made the day go as planned, everything went perfect thanks to them. And major shoutout to the chef, guests could not stop raving about how delicious the food was. Everyone at Whitby made my husband's and my day better than we could've hoped for.

PS If you plan to have ceremony here, highly suggest renting the castle for the day. Definitely didn't feel as stressed since getting ready, photos, ceremony, and reception was held in one location. Helped ease my anxiety for sure.

Nothing bad to say about this place. My best friend got married there this past weekend and everyone had a ball. All the staff were great and accommodating. Just wanted to personally comment on ROXY, she was like our point person for everything and was so attentive. Then even served us dinner. I would always say "Roxy you rock" also ERIC was our bartender and made sure everyone was taken care of. Thank you guys for an awesome time!

Niki Viera and Whitby castle are AMAZING! Recently, my fiancé and I attended our in-laws’ wedding and were obsessed with how beautiful Whitby was for their wedding. They spoke so highly of Whitby Castle and Niki Viera who was their Catering Sales Manager. My fiancé and I booked our wedding at Whitby for December and are now super excited! We have been working closely with Niki who is very attentive, answers e-mails/calls immediately, and never hesitates to offer her expert advice. She has made wedding planning so easy and has been so incredibly helpful, especially at our tasting as we picked menu options for the big day. Niki’s patience, care, and flexible nature makes her so easy to work with. She has a positive attitude and makes everyone feel at home in her presence. Her help has truly has made the wedding planning experience so enjoyable and easy to do! Niki and the Whitby Castle dream team are second to none and the best that there is! Thank you, Niki and Whitby/Lessings! We are so excited for our big day!

The Whitby deserves every raving review it gets! We got married there a week ago and we were so impressed by their services. Our wedding was totally behind, because guests arrived late from the ceremony, but the Whitby made the most seamless adjustments. Our guests didn’t even notice all the little things that happened! The food was delicious, their communication leading up to the day so timely and professional. They took perfect care of me when I was running out of steam day-of. The views are gorgeous. It really feels like a fairytale princess wedding. Our guests were so impressed! They even let us stay a little later even though there was another wedding, so that we could take couple photos in front of the castle which we had no time for beforehand. We highly recommend them and would get married there all over again!

We had our wedding here and it was amazing. Nicky and Ralph were spectacular. They were consistently on top of every detail without being overbearing. They were also very accommodating towards a few wedding curveballs we had and extremely communicative throughout the planning process. This is a perfect place to get married.

We had an absolute perfect wedding at Whitby! The staff, food, event and every detail was absolutely amazing. If you are organized like I am, then you do not need an event planner! Niki & Ralph know exactly what needs to be done, they are the dream team and truly make your day spectacular!

We are a Hollywood Smile Photo Booth rentals and we had a wedding celebration here this Saturday. I loved the location with a golf field and waterfront. Photo Booth was a great addition to the wedding. Guests had so much fun.

We recently celebrated my son's Baptism at Whitby Castle and had the greatest experience. Working with Yasmin was such a pleasure. She made sure all of our needs were met. The day was perfect, our guests had a great time, loved the place and the food! Awesome venue, can't wait to go back!

I loved everything about this place. It was a beautiful property and a really elegant space. The food was excellent and the staff super friendly and professional. We attended a family wedding and truly enjoyed the ambiance and experience. It is definitely worth considering if you are hosting an important event.

We are so happy that we chose Whitby Castle as our wedding venue! Niki and Ralph were a joy to work with and made sure everything was taken care of. We had such a beautiful May wedding at Whitby Castle and could not be happier with our experience working with them. We looked at a lot of venues that left something to be desired – they were too small, hosted multiple events at the same time, etc. But when we walked into the ballroom at Whitby, we immediately fell in love and booked shortly after. Every room is beautiful, especially the ballroom and outdoor terrace, making it a great choice for a partially outdoor event. We had no problems postponing our date with them due to the pandemic, and they honored the original pricing even two years later. Niki was so friendly and always available to answer my (often very specific and anxious) questions. Ralph helped run our day to the minute, with a sense of humor. He checked on us throughout the wedding day to make sure things were happening when and how we wanted. We used an outside caterer and, from all we could see, they worked together seamlessly. Our guests were as happy as we were. I'm so glad we found Whitby, and we would recommend it wholeheartedly, whether you're having a wedding or other kind of celebration.

My husband and I had our wedding here in January of 2022. The food was amazing, the staff is amazing, the reception hall was perfect. Niki and Ralph are so easy to work with and accommodating, chef Fernando was brilliant, and we even had a staff member (Willy we are so thankful) pull us aside during cocktail hour to make sure we ate! My husband has a gluten allergy and they worked with us effortlessly. So very thankful to them!

20/10 - amazing staff and a beautiful place to do a wedding. Not a far drive from Long Island.

Ralph is amazing!

My wife and I got married on 04/23/22 and had the most exceptional wedding experience. For starters we had to postpone our wedding twice because of COVID, Whitby was exceedingly accommodating of this and honored our original contract throughout the process. The staff at Whitby are exceptional, Niki was extremely responsive throughout the whole process. Ralph was fun and energetic, he made sure the entire night went according to plan and that we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The food was exceptional and the castle itself is stunning. Could not have more positive things to say about this venue

From the moment my husband and I stepped into Whitby Castle and met with Niki, we immediately felt at ease. We had a sense of relief and excitement all mixed in one-we had found our venue! We knew it instantly. The venue and the grounds are absolutely stunning. The fact that it's an actual castle built in the 1800s is amazing. You truly feel as if you are in England, far away from everything. Our guests are raving about the INCREDIBLE food from start to finish (the Chef Fernando is SO sweet and talented), the magic and romance of the day, the flawless team running it all-RALPH, our maitre d', was simply fantastic. He kept us on track the entire night. He's fun and personable, yet professional, and you can tell he has done this a million times-but still enjoys every moment. My Bridal Attendant Stefanie was absolutely a godsent. We had the most perfect day, straight out of a movie. We were beyond elated to see our dreams come true. Everything you can think of-communication, help, professionalism, incredible food, gorgeous views, countless photo opportunities, generosity, talented & friendly staff, and a stunning place to get married-is found at Whitby Castle.

My husband and I had our wedding at Whitby Castle on 3/19/22 and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From when we first met with Niki in October 2020 through our wedding, the staff was always prepared and professional. Whitby has all the options and answers to all of your questions and the staff pay great attention to detail. They met and exceeded our needs and always with a smile on their faces. Niki and Ralph work together like a well-oiled machine. The chef, Fernando, cooks with such love and care that you could taste it through his food and was enjoyed by all of our guests. Everything was artful while also delicious. Gabriel was so attentive to us during our tasting and the whole night of our wedding to make sure we were always happy. Gabriel's smile can only be met with more smiles. We loved the space which has such natural beauty that you need not worry about budgeting for anything else. You're not going to find another castle, on a golf course, on the Sound ever. This is the one. It's beautiful, the staff is excellent, and you'll be happy with your decision to have your wedding or other event at Whitby. From start to finish, Niki, Ralph, and their entire team did an amazing job to make Whitby Castle the most perfect wedding venue we could have found. When looking for a venue, the castle hit all of our requirements - full weather protection, something unique, and no stuffy ballrooms without windows. The incredible staff was an added bonus! Starting with our venue tour, Niki was prompt with answering any and all questions we had about the castle, logistics of the day, and planning needs to coordinate with our vendors. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with Ralph to go over our day-of details and we immediately knew we were in good hands. We custom-made most of our decorations and Ralph and his team did an impeccable job making our vision a reality. Our guests and families are still raving about the food (which is to die for), the extensive cocktail hour spread, the amazing synchronized serving of dinner, and the attention to detail throughout the entire night. We're still floating from our wedding night at the castle and could not be happier to recommend an amazing venue with an even more amazing staff.
