White Castle, West Hempstead NY

Nostalgic at this point. Still the same tastes you grew-up knowing and loving, but with a few additions.

This was my first time in over 10 years visiting a White Castle. I grew up eating from this burger fast food restaurant more than the other burger places. Well first of all I was on a line that moved very slowly. It took 20 minutes to move one car space. Maybe the shift was changing or you were short staff. I do understand when this happens. However I ate one burger and gave my fish sandwich to my dog. It was over cooked. Sorry that I decided to try again,

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Staff was rude, slow and very displeasing service. I waited 25 minutes for a crave case as well as other sides, but they made the sides first right away so by the time I got the burgers everything else was stale and cold. Just Horrible

It's a Saturday and they have locked the doors and will not let ppl in. Only whites are in there dining in. The drive thru has been horrible. Your waiting 30-40 minute just to order.

I lived off White Castle hamburgers for 4 straight days and loved every bit of it. I can only have them frozen in Florida. No white castle here.

If you like fast food then you will love White Castle. If you are hungry visit the "aluminum room"!

Haven't been to WC in many years. This one on Hempstead Turnpike was small inside. On the day I was there, the inside had a lot of water, as if the place leaked during the rain. Like all fast food places, it features a menu board of various combos and including chicken and fish to the burger fare.
Ordered a sack of ten combo that came with two fries and drink. Also tried the chicken sandwich.
The burgers were put together sloppily with cheese and grease on the outside of the mini boxes.
The taste of the pickles were overwhelming killing the taste of the burger with the cheese and diced onions.
Do not recommend the chicken sandwich. This was a mini breaded piece of chicken that was rubbery and bland tasting.
The inside had welded tables and could have been better maintained from a cleanliness stand point.
It features a drive through in addition to a parking lot. It catacombs the corner on Hempstead Turnpike and Front street.
Overall, haven't really missed it after all these years. Maybe the old adage of them being belly bombers will result later.
If you a in the mood to reminisce or just want a quick fast food option other than the other chains, go for it.

Food is great. The service is absolutely horrible. The wait for food is absurd. I can’t believe I waited 25 min for fast food. HR needs to resolve this.

To order plus the customer orders get mixed up the employee was taking my order and walk away I didn't finish all my order

Poor management no good customer service extremely rude no class no respect she didn’t want to give me her name. August 6,2021 at 12: 10 PM was her shift. I will never come back to this white castle ever again! She was African-American with long Dreads. She should definitely be fired! Definitely made a complaint through corporate office so we can get her fired and out of there! She doesn’t belong there. She was cooking the food with no hair net on. Manager didn’t have no name tag or the workers.all of them should have name tags on so we know who who is who and job title. I ordered the 20 sliders with 4 French fries order. I requested they give me 2 onion rings and 2 French fries and they forgot to give me the order of two French fries. Was disappointed that the order was messed up. Oh well guess I will double check the order next time.

Love my castles! Every time we go home that's the first stop and last before we leave.

They had more than enough staff but the service was super slow. There were people who ordered online also inside waiting on their order. The food though was on point no complaints on that.

Food is good and fresh. Slightly higher than normal wait time but it’s fine if you’re not late for anything. Very inexpensive, and you pay for what you get.

It was very busy in the drive through as usual, I feel that this location can use more employees. I sadly witness a driver (Male) being very disrespectful to the young lady whom was collecting the money for the food. No employee should be disrespected due to rudely customers whom are such in a Rush. I'm very worry for the safety of the employees whom work the drivethough, something has to be done, especially in this crazy world we live in.
