One of the rudest responses I’ve ever received for a wedding proposal. I’ve talked to several other florists in Manhattan/ Brooklyn who said my style and flowers would be no issue for my budget. Last minute, I spotted this company on IG and figured I could reach out as another potential option since their average budget on wedding wire was below mine and their aesthetic was similar to what I was looking for. Mind you- I wasn’t asking for a crazy complicated hanging floral structure. And my budget wasn’t “low” by any means for what I’m asking for (no arches, some simple fireplace decor, small bridal party so just a few bouquets, bud flower reception decor, low- medium centerpieces only, etc). Michelle responded that she didn’t want to waste time and wouldn’t even be willing to get on the phone with me to discuss. Uhhh my wedding is like more than a year away. Who are you to tell me whether or not I’m wasting time? Jesus get off your high horse- you’re not that amazing of a florist.
