Wildwood State Park, Wading River NY

The cottages are great! The beach is nice and cool
Would recommend staying here to relax for a few days

Great full hookup campground with pul through spots most spots are not to level since the whole park is basically rolling hills.

Great trails in the park. We chose the longest one - yellow. The smell of the forest, birdsong, berries on the edges and magnificent views of the bay will make your day! You can also take a walk along the beach or have a picnic.

Very diverse park. There are trails, picnicking a beach and camping. During the warm months there is a small vending area with food and beverage. Bathrooms were open in December so I assume they are all year round. Beautiful park. They are doing work on parking area and the parking area is a bit rough

Best park on Long Island beautiful north coast, amazing staff, gets noisy on weekends because everyone is having fun

Great place, very convenient. If you are going during the weekend, make sure you get there early, it gets very busy. It is a big place, good for kids everybody is friendly. Will be definitely coming back

Great state park. Facilities are clean and maintained. Beach is nice but rocky, so bring water shoes. Camped there twice this summer. You have to bring your own fire pit or rent one at the camp store.

Used this place as a first time camping spot, it’s very clean and comfortable, Bathrooms are well kept and easy access.

Nice place for camping with family. My kids love riding bike here. I come here every year with family and friends. Once in while I see some family disregard rules and make too much noise later hours but over all most of my visits were great.

BS advertising. 3/4 mile through s field across toll and down a bluff? Then can’t dump full tank because sewers don’t work right? Electrical problem had to move once and still had to edit for fix! Workers ARE NICE NOT THEIR FAJLT

It is a good place to bring family and friends for a BBQ and the beach is rigth there you just have to walk like 5 minutes

The service was horrible. The waiter forgot our salad. We had to ask for it then he doesnt bring it out until we were done eating. I never got my drink so I said forget about it and it was lunch time on a Monday. It was not busy at all.

WORST CAMPGROUND EVER. People whose camping are so wild and loud. Nobody patroling at the bathroom/shower where theres a lot of kids hanging out. Plus THERES NO GRILL/CAMPFIRE in the campsite. How can you expect a campsite without smores and campfire? Theyre selling a WOOD but not letting you make a campfire. THEY DIDNT PUT A GRILL BECAUSE THEY WANT YOU TO RENT IN THE CAMPSTORE. And thats not all they posted everywhere that alcoholic beverage is not permitted but THEYRE SELLING FREAKING ALCOHOL!

I use to go there every summer as a child, police picnics were held there and I always had a great time. Calm relaxed time for all, lot's of things to do.

It was really OPEN, you can camp and relax, have a BQQ, and just relax as long is not to hot, so be cautious, but don't worry the beach is ONLY 10mins away, BORAD WALK

Swimming on the beach, stand up paddle boarding, and camping in the sun for an ultra low price, this is the best value vacation on the Island. Luxurious accommodations without the glamping attitude of the East end.

The site was clean and relaxing while we were there. The bathrooms ran out of toilet paper by Saturday morning, so maybe if they are stocked Friday evening that would help with that problem. Nearby campers we setting up their site around 10pm, and others were having fun into all hours of the night. You know what though, who cares. Everyone was friendly, and just enjoying their camping trip. Lots of families, and lots of laughs were heard. I am already planning my next trip there, but I will be bringing toilet paper with me.lol

Worst Campground! The beach is fine. However the campsite is so disappointing. THERES NO CAMPGRILL/CAMPFIRE on their site but theyre selling WOODS and renting a GRILL per night. They posted NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE BUT THEYRE SELLING ALCOHOL. Campsite are just next to each other theres no privacy

If you have small children and like to sleep DO NOT camp here! There is zero supervision when the office closes at 9. You have to call park police with complaints. When you do complain they tell you "we are understaffed. " We had children playing hide and seek at 12: 30am in our site. They tripped over our tent post. The party never ends! Loud music till wee hours of the morning, 10+ people in a site! Forget all the rules you read on the website.they aren't enforced (with the exception on fire pits). No alcohol is a joke! They even sell it at the camp store! The bathrooms are filthy! I don't believe they were cleaned all weekend! We had bloody toilet paper in the shower stalls! One shower facility had no hot water by Sunday morning! We will NEVER return! Trashy people with no respect for others!
