Wilfie & Nell reviews
13We loved popping in here for a drink before dinner. The rustic interior inside is great and our cocktails were fantastic! Our bartender was also extremely friendly. All around a great experience, enjoyed the open windows and doors and would love to come back.
Really nice bar. Great selection of draft beer. Cozy atmosphere. It is really clean and staff is also super friendly.
Definitely recommend!
I had an awesome time at this bar today with my friend. I forgot the name of the bartender or server who served me. But she was wonderful! I did a shot with her on the house and she complimented my outfit (which made me feel better).
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good service, wonderful beer selection, and a great grilled cheese
This is our second time coming here and it won’t be our last; solid drinks, friendly service and good bar bites. This place really has a great energy!
I’ve only ever been to Wilfie & Nell during the day, so this is a “daytime” review. I was there a few days ago and the service is fantastic. The waiter we had was attentive, personable and just plain good at her job. I was introduced to this bar by a friend and I’m a convert. I didn’t eat, but members of my party did and they enjoyed their meals.
Love love LOVE this spot! Very busy so not perfect for a true sit down meal past 9pm on a weekend, but the drinks are great and the bites were delicious.
Firstly, I want to say that our server Jean totally made the experience. He was awesome, wholesome, attentive, and had great style to boot! The food was very good, and the drinks were absolutely spectacular (which was a relief given they were $20 each!) Very expensive, but if you're willing to dish out the price you will be getting a good quality meal.
I’ve been to this establishment many times but this time was different. I was on line for the restroom with a friend and we got screamed at by a server that there’s a “one person to a bathroom rule” and my girlfriend couldn’t accompany me. While she’s waiting on line to use the other restroom because she wasn’t able to use the restroom with me a server cut the line and said because she was in her shift she needed to use the restroom more urgently than her. After I exited the bathroom the server came up to me and asked if “I had a problem with her” because she heard that my friend didn’t understand why she couldn’t accompany me in the bathroom. Overall it was a very strange and hostile experience. I’m not sure if they changed staff but this will deter me from ever returning given how rude and hostile the servers were. To be clear they were not bartenders, strictly server staff on the floor.
Been workin in the food industry for a long time, found the bar’s vibe cozy and sweet. Just, the service was pretty lame. Came for a friends birthday, and our server was giving off some strong vibes of annoyance and aggravation, not sure why. We were sober and, from my end, happy to be there. Def made me uncomfortable. Left pretty soon after due to the strange interaction.
Place gets crowded but if you're there early you can easily grab a seat. 13$ cocktails every day makes 100% worth it
Favourite pub in NYC so far. Great staff (nice one Kevin), very cozy, excellent Guinness and no tvs, meaning great conversation!
Cozy, classy Irish pub. I met one of the owners at another pub and he was so sweet! It’s reflected in the service of the place.
