Wilkins RV of Churchville

At one time, I vowed to never deal with Wilkins again because of their less than acceptable service department. In the 8-10 times I dealt with them I never walked away with a good experience. In fact, quite the opposite.

Then they hired Rick. He has a good personality and he is on the ball! When my RV is in for service, he is fantastic about reaching out to me and keeping me updated on every issue he encountered. Mr. Wilkins needs to realize that he was definitely going to lose a customer until he hired Rick. In the past, I genuinely disliked dealing with the Churchville store, now I don’t feel that dread when I have to interact with them. It’s good to have confidence that your RV is in capable hands, and I won’t be met with any surprises when I go to pick it up. A month ago, I would have given one star, now it’s five.

Great service, stand behind their work.they forgot something with a repair. Sent a tech out within hours to my house (west irondequoit) to make it right.

Horrible, don't do business with them! Sold me a camper 2 months ago, the camper wasn't going to work for us. Went back to them to trade it in just to find out they sold it way over priced, so I was way under on it. We never even plugged it in, it was the same as when it left their lot. They informed me they only pay a certain amount for them so they could only give me half what I paid for it just 2 months ago. Still tried to sell me a 5th wheel that again with the trade was so upside down they wanted 20k in cash to make it work. I gave them a check for $6,500.00, they ran my credit over and over and over. Told them to stop running my credit, they couldn't get the deal approved because of the huge negative equity, which was because they over chaged me in the first place. Plus, they were not willing to budge on the price or the deal, just wanted me to put more money down. Basically told me they have to many people that want the unit and I either pay that or walk. I went to a few other dealers and found out how much they over chaged me on the first camper. I told them if they can't do any better on the trade of better on the price of the new one then forget it. (I went to Jim's RV told them the situation and they we're amazing. Got me into the same 5th wheel with my upside down trade for over 10k less! It was awesome walked in, walked out in 30 mins new camper). So I called wilkins to get my deposit check back. Well to find out they cashed the check and took $6,500.00 out of my account on a camper I didn't even agree to buy! Furious, I called them over and over Manager after Manager just to have them tell me they don't issue refunds on checks for 10 business days. So I have to wait 10 days on a check they took for a deal we didn't do. They cost me 1000s, tons of time, tons of energy. Will never set foot on their property again, except to pick up my dam check. Lesson learned!

Purchasing our new trailer was a great experience from day one! Crystal was able to find a model that suited us perfectly. We were able to negotiate a fair trade with the Ethan the sales manager and Wilkins worked with us every step of the way. From Cory in finance and Diana in insurance paperwork to the friendly face of Anna greeting us on our 3 visits out. David in parts came through in the end and managed to have our slide toppers installed before delivery.
Wilkins listened to us and wasn’t just out to make a sale. I was really hesitant to purchase from a larger dealer due to our last bad experience with a different company but I am so happy with our decision!

We are looking for a camper to rent for a week and Gary was very helpful understanding easy to talk to.

Sales Associate Chris Carpino was excellent.and made sure that I could not walk away! The Tech that did the walk thru was another "Chris". He great.and made me feel very confident in my "new to me" unit. I am still on the fence about Service. Perhaps if I had come back to Churchville for service, instead of trying a "closer to home" Wilkins my experience would have had a better out come.live and learn, and hoping I don't need service anytime soon!

My dad recently traded in his RV at Wilkins Churchville and he has had nothing but great things to say about the new RV and the personnel at Wilkins RV. The staff at Wilkins has been very receptive and proactive and has invited dad out to answer any questions or concerns he had about the new RV. We would definitely recommend Wilkins RV of Churchville to any of our friends.

We had a great experience buying a new rv fridge from them. Called three different places and we had a fridge from Wilkins the next day. Quick courteous service.

We wanted to see a couple specific Class C motor homes and the salesman only unlocked 2 of them which were not even the 2 we wanted to see! We told him we didn't have much time BUT we made a special trip there! He didn't want to be bothered with us because we wouldn't sit right down with him. If he would have bothered to ask us even 2 questions he would have actually figured out we are have purchased 2 campers in 4 years and actually are interested in buying. Shame on your terrible salesman!

Gary and Brooke from the Churchville location went above and beyond my expectations to help get me the RV I wanted at the right price! They didn’t give up even when I had second thoughts and I am now proud to own the camper I wanted at a great price. Jim was also great from service with the walk through and quickly addressed any concerns I had. Top notch service all the way through the process and highly recommend making them your choice!

Wilkins is by far the best RV dealer and service center in the Rochester area.staff are knowledgeable, friendly, consistently accessible and helpful. I have dealt with a number of other RV dealers both in Rochester and other parts of the state, but have come to preferentially rely on the expertise at Wilkins!

My husband and I are first timers! Chris took the time to listen to our wants and needs and found the perfect camper for us. Brooke helped us navigate the paperwork. Can’t wait to start making new memories.

Wilkins RV has very good people working to make sure everything was good to go with our new to us RV. They went through all the systems of the trailer. Installed our hitch and even replaced the plug on the van.
