Williamsburg Mixed Martial Arts reviews
7Luis of u knw wht. Los rap believe you me. Baby j, Gomez watching Seinfeld on you know whut. F Harrington.
I’ve been training 2-3 times a week at WMMA for just over three years. I highly recommend MMA for its enormous physical and mental benefits. Unlike other workout places, this is a sport that requires you to show up for yourself first and foremost.not because of the money you’ve paid, pressure or guilt from instructors, or even for the other people who train there (though that develops over time.) It is a good community if you can understand that a couple of classes don’t make you a fighter; it’s about the steady, long-term commitment to yourself. Professors Roger and Diego are both excellent teachers. There’s a lot of love and pride at WMMA.
I’ve been an active participant of ADULT ALL LEVEL BOXING on a weekly basis for over 6 months. Each class incorporates different combinations and movements while sticking with core fundamentals so you can track progress. Prof Roger is a deligent and effective communicator with admirable leadership qualities. I recommend this school without reservation.
Williamsburg MMA is a great place to train. I had no experience before I started boxing at WMMA almost a year ago. Prof. Roger's instruction is excellent for beginners and advanced members alike, and I'm always leaving class with a new perspective on the sport and my progress. The other great thing about this gym is the community - members are kind, welcoming and supportive of one another. So much so that I felt comfortable with starting jiu jitsu, which is something I never thought I'd be doing. It's a great, friendly community that I recommend it to anyone in the NYC area looking to learn more about MMA.
I was looking for a credible boxing gym but was nervous because I've never done something like that before in life.
Williamsburg MMA is an absolutely incredible place filled with an extremely welcoming group of people, an amazing Professor (coach) and a focus on helping its students succeed at their goals and to push further.
Can't recommend enough — occasionally they have groupons so check that out if you're on the fence.
I have been training at WMMA for over 4 years, and I can truthfully say that it is the best school I have ever trained in (and I have trained in a LOT of schools). Actually, it's more than just my school, it's my community, my extended family, where I got to learn, grow and enjoy myself. Professor Mamedov's teaching philosophy is one of openness, constant personal growth and responsibility, and my ability as a martial arts has grown in leaps and bounds. It doesn't matter whether you are an absolute beginner or a experienced martial artist, WMMA can be a great home for you.
