Staff very polite and helpful with signing in and directions to patient. Very clean and welcoming facility.

Williamsville Suburban also recently got its second fine of 2022 from the state Health Department. The nursing home, at 193 S. Union Road in Amherst, was penalized $8,000 due to a lapse in Covid-19 infection control protocols, one of many facilities to get fined for that over the last couple years. Williamsville Suburban also was hit with a $10,000 fine in January related to not reviewing the drug regimen of residents frequently enough.

I was neglected by all but one of the staff. Would not recommend anyone coming here. I was not allowed to get out of bed. Had to call and have someone clean me up. I waited 8 hours before someone came.

Absolutely deplorable. The whole facility smells like urine the second you walk through the doors. Hot, musty, uncomfortable with no AC or mostly broken units. Staff doesn’t care and are extremely unhelpful and neglectful. My grandmother almost died due to neglect. She caught pneumonia and they did nothing at all until she could barely breathe. You don’t catch bad pneumonia overnight, it gets worse and worse if left untreated, they ignored it until it was almost too late. She had to be transferred to the hospital by ambulance and the doctors said they were shocked she was still alive it was so bad. I’m absolutely in awe that this place hasn’t been shut down yet. Do not send your loved ones here! DISGUSTING!

Parent was there didn’t like it nurse on the phone willing caring for my parent. They didn’t elevate parent the way they were supposed to while my parent was in the bed parent it so many things with that place. I would never send them back staff well there were your good ones and there were the one that didn’t care.

This place is filthy and has a terrible odor. My dad was able to get his floor cleaned, but still sticky. The staff is terrible to deal with and refuse to help. I am in process of having dad moved to another facility as soon as Director of Social Work shows up in our room.

DO NOT SEND LOVED ONES HERE. The place is horrible. They do not care about loved ones. My mother was finally given a shower after 20 days of being there. They were always short staffed. Mom fell out of bed, got bed sores. She asked for pillow to be put behind her to relief pressure and was told they were not a pillow factory. Floors always were littered with gloves, garbage and dirty depends. Patients were yelling for help. One day a Patients was speaking to me and I was told not to talk to him, he wanted help with his food tray. Food was horrible also. No protein on the trays some days. Was sent for rehab and didn't receive very much. I could provide better and have since I got her out of there. There are a few good aids and nurses but are out numbered by the bad ones. It is really bad when the workers there are telling you to get your loved ones out ASAP.

This place is deplorable. Shame on any social worker for ever sending any of their clients here to rehab. Filth, apathy lost personal items. Sending patients to appointments in a t shirt and shorts in the middle of February hours before actual appointment with no food jacket or a way to get out of wheelchair. Horrible horrible horrible. This place should be closed down with a minus 10 stars.

Absolutely the worst experience for my loved one. She was not bathed for three weeks no matter how many times she asked. The food was cold and the staff couldn't bother to heat anything up. There was no help for her in any sort of positive way this place needs to be shut down or completely overhauled. The couple of good nurses their are outnumbered by the sheer number of employees that just don't care. I would give zero stars if that was an option.
