Wilson Dental, Rochester NY

I called to get a testyresponse rushing me to give them my date of birth and insurance information then disconnected when placed on hold.

This writer immediately called back to get someone telling me that I needed to get a referral from my most recent dentist to their office in order to just have a consultation with them for a second opinion.

Recently went to get my fillings done in November. Left with a missing filling and a hole in my tooth. When i went back she stated “it must've fell out”. She didnt shave my fillings down. Felt like i was chewing on rocks. Tried to speak with a manager but he couldnt assist with anything. Most definitely tried to avoid handling this situation. Now i have never ending nerve pain and halfway filled teeth. Very upset with this experience.

Frighteningly bad, zero stars is too many. Filthy office, floors and walls are grimy and disgusting.
Equipment is cracked and falling apart, blood in the sinks, didn't follow protocol and check my vitals even though they brought the blood pressure machine in the room. One dentist for the whole practice and she's trying to work on ten people at once. They cemented my teeth together and couldn't fix it for two weeks, then on the day of the appointment the dentist was a no show and the whole waiting room was sent home. My teeth weren't bothering me before they did the fillings and now they hurt everyday. Pieces of the fillings started coming out a week later. This place is fine if you need an emergency cleaning or a referral to another provider but DO NOT come for ANYTHING else. I will actively warn people away from this place for as long as they exist, they depend on people being poor and desperate and having no alternative.

The only time anyone should ever come to this office is if they have literally no other choice. They run behind schedule constantly, the people don’t care about patients, you can tell the company is run by people who only care about money. They wouldn’t even let me schedule an appointment without first running my insurance. Everywhere I’ve ever been to they tell you to bring the insurance card to the appointment.

Not if they paid me would I ever go here again! Unprofessional and woman that was doing my fills broke three of my teeth being careless! Don’t do it to yourself

THIS IS THE WORST DENTIST OFFICE IN ROCHESTER! I'M SO FRUSTRATED WITH THEM IS BEING NICE! THEY'VE CANCELED MY DAUGHTER'S APPTS MULTIPLE TIMES! WE REALLY NEED ANOTHER DENTIST THAT TAKES MEDICAID! ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM? REALLY NEEDS TO SPEAK UP!

I'm so excited about my new Dr at Wilson dental! She's amazing after 20 minutes talking with her I was in the right place!

I had a one o’clock appointment I am still waiting in the waiting room and they’re rude very rude when I ask how much longer she said idk maybe 20 -30 mins

Amazing! In less than a minute the very experienced Dentist carefully took an instrument and applied a hard press and my tooth was free! A very successful extraction. Thank you

Wilson dental is the fastest way to get anything done every where else takes 2 or 3 yrs to get your dentures but at Wilson dental I got mines in less then 6 months awesome

My experience thus far at Wilson Dental has been very good. The staff is helpful, friendly and, the doctors I spoke with were extremely helpful; to the extent of informing me of details I was previously unaware of, saving me an immeasurable amount of hassle, expense and headache going forward.
I can't tell you how reassuring it is to know that your dental health/hygiene and, yes, vanity are in good hands.

They are frauds. Waited 3 months for appointment to get an abstract and they said it was a cleaning. The supervisor was like "let's do this" i was like no no no then I left. The cleaning wldve reactived the hole. I'm tired of them. Shldve learned when the lady gave me another dentist number the low.

I was in alot of tooth pain until I got the treatment and service I needed and my mouth felt so much better after the little healing time the dentist took care of my problem

Dentist wonderful dentistry have a wonderful doctor. She also loves her music. Very nice. My sister also goes here facilities! She was awesome and staff is very nice also… happy holiday

They canceled my appointment because I didn’t confirm with them the day prior that I was still coming to my appointment. I was never told to call and confirm. I’ve never heard of this. Wow. I literally waited 3 months for this appointment.

Horrible place, I've had a receptionists there give me attitude after making me wait 5 minutes past my appointment time twice, and talk to me like i was an idiot when i asked about the paperwork i had to fill out. But speaking of appointment times they seem to schedule multiple appointments for different people at the same time, on 3 different occasions my appointments lasted well over an hour because the dentist was doing other procedures, one time I waited 84 minutes from the time she applied the anesthetic saying "I'll give that a few minutes to numb you up" until she came back. Then during the procedure I kept feeling pain and she ignored me, her hand slipped twice and she gave me an attitude.this place is awful. DO NOT GO HERE! They're literally just squeezing money from insurance providers. They do not care about their patients. I put up with their nonsense for 3 years out of necessity, I will not go there ever again

They are friendly and get there job done I did not have any problems with the appointments and everything went well.

After reading all the horror stories (everything from the breastfeeding Mother being publicly humiliated and kicked out by the dentist who continues to be employed there & the story was so bad it made the national headlines to people’s teeth being yanked out by the root when it was the WRONG tooth/ Fillings and crowns popping out etc.) I canceled my appointment at Wilson and was VERY blessed to find Eastman Dental. They may have a long wait but they’re worth the it!

The best thing Wilson Dental did for me was treat me so poorly that another dentist took pity on me.
It's sad, because they have the potential to be a great asset to the community; a dental office that actually takes Medicaid AND is taking new patients is unheard of.
The office staff (HEATHER) is incredibly rude, and incompetent. The older, white dentists are rude to to the younger, diverse staff, and to patients as well.
And yes, the waiting room is disgusting!
