The park was nice, not too crowded. The gospel show was wonderful, well organized and I will recommend this venue to others. Restrooms were easily accessible.

The show didn't start on time. The sound system was trouble. The opening act was not good at all.however, I guess this hat you get for free. Trash.

There has been cars broken into in the last few years overnight, so I'd avoid parking in the area. It's close to the hospital, so sometimes there are some shady characters in the neighborhood. The park itself is beautifully renovated and is right next to a padded track to run on. Lots of folks come here to play basketball and Wall Ball, the fountains are great for the kids and newly installed chess tables. Not a bad area to come for a workout. The area is also developing with newer high end apartments.

It's always great to be at Wingate especially for the Dr. Martin Luther King Concert Series. I wish that it would go back to how it used to be. From The beginning of July to the end of August every Monday

There are many play areas for kids, a track and courts for squash and basketball. There are also benches and bleachers for those of us who are just supervising and not exercising

NYC Parks Dept.has
renovated and opened to the public Playground program.

This has improved Wingate Park and the community. Just wished they had the rope to workout on

Wingate Concert Series Hosted by Eric Adams are amazing. Safe, fun, and great artists. A must go to if you want to complete your summer fun. It's free but recommend going early like 5 30 if you want great seats. You can bring food and water. Also if you have your own chair or blanket that's cool as well. Closest train stop is the 2 train at Winthrop.
