Wize Eyes Eyewear, New Hyde Park NY

I live in the area and called 2x. An older woman answers the phone usually and always sounds displeased for some reason and not very helpful. I finish the calls with “Thank you” and she just hangs up!

I had a wonderful experience at Wize Eyes. I really needed to be seen ASAP to get contact lenses for an upcoming trip. I had called at least 3 other eye places that didn’t have any available appointments for TWO WEEKS! Finally I called Wize Eyes and they were able to give me an appointment the same day. I got to my appointment 15 minutes early and signed in and I was able to be seen right away by Dr. B. His calming demeanor and professional eye exam was quick and to the point. He even gave me some contacts and eye solution to take home with me. The prices for my contacts were reasonable and they accept my insurance so it was an affordable visit. The staff was very nice and they even fixed my glasses (that were not bought at this store) for free! Definitely would recommend and will be going back for glasses soon!

I showed up at store at 5: 55. The store closes at 6pm. Their were 4 people working. The woman came from behind the desk and said oh we are closing now. Another woman I saw through the Window as I was approaching the front door was running to shut off the lights to the store because she saw me coming in. This is how they run a business? Very disappointed.

After years of being ripped off by mom and pop stores, it's refreshing to get a fair price for just replacing the lenses.

The people were nice but they rushed me into picking out a pair that I didn’t like today I’m going back and switching them and this time I’m going to look at every kind they have I don’t care how much they want to rush things just so they can say they have 1hr service

This location has been around for years. The selection of frames are good as well as the price for an exam. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. Highly recommend if you do not want to pay high pricing for frames from their competitors.

Please save yourself the trip. Inexperienced, incompetent, and low stock location. If this is a place that is a franchise to Wise Eyes they should be shut down.

I had a good experience at the NHP wize eyes location. Gina was very pleasant and not pushy. She didn't try to steer me to the most expensive glasses. She was very dedicated to customer service. I would return for future service.

I came last week for an eye examination and the prices were very affordable. Shivani was my sales rep and she was very informative and polite. I will recommend her to my friends and family and will come back to do business here again. 5 starss woot woot!

I went to have my photo grey lenses placed in a new frame which was done after I just couldn't understand why the glass didn't get dark any longer those lenses were expensive can't prove they were switched who would've thought a reputable place would do that?
