Wonton Noodle Garden reviews
15Super nice staff that helped us with the menu and we were delightfully surprised by how much we liked the dishes they recommended.
Your waiters are too sloppy d? It’s delicious. The alkaline water noodles are too heavy. It’s all MSG and chicken powder. What’s so bad about it? Poor attitude, poor service, and poor quality. I don’t recommend everyone to go there. The noodles are not cooked, and the meat of the wontons is not fresh.
Update: New location in Pell is just as great!
Great quality wonton noodles! All the other dishes were solid as well. The stewed beef was super tender and the rice rolls were actually fried which we really enjoyed. The chicken wings with spicy pepper is made in the style of salt and pepper pork chops if you’ve had that. Very delicious and crunchy. Sauteed Fish Filet Cantonese Style was great as well.
Highly recommend trying the food with the chili oil that’s at every table as well. I would guess they make that in house too, very flavorful. Would buy a jar if available!
Takes credit cards.
Note check may already include tip so look it over! Or you can just ask to confirm. Service is very friendly.
Our favorite spot in Chinatown. Good is always fresh and very tasty! Service is also outstanding!
Worst take out service ever since moving to new location. Took over 20minutes to make a wonton noodle soup, while dine in customers who came after I placed my order received their wonton noodle soup before me. Only care about making tips from dine in customer.
Simply amazing. Friendly staff. We came in from the freezing cold and were greeted with warm tea. Thank you. We went twice on our 3 day NYC vacation. The kids loved it. And it would be wrong not to order the wonton's. Melt in your mouth wontons.
Mei Lai Wah serves Chinese food in a simple and unassuming place. There was no seating available indoors so we sat outside on the street. It felt like the waitstaff did not pay much attention to guests seated outside, it took a long time for the waiter to take our order and bring us our bill.
We had the wonton noodle soup, and lo mein with dumplings. I thought the portion size was perfect, and the prices were good too!
Great food, fast, efficient service in a busy restaurant.
Easy to grab a seat at the bar for 1-2 diners. The menu is extensive, in english/chinese, and has TONS of pictures. I asked for a sub on the vegetables and it was done easily.
Had the herbal tea, choy sum in oyster sauce, and beef and string beans with rice. The food was delicious, great portions, and cozy. Busy environment, but everything ran smoothly. Credit cards are taken as well as cash
Needed a quick snack and dropped in here in the afternoon. Great place for wonton noodle soup!
First of all, this restaurant moved to a new location. I brought my American friends who wanted authentic Chinese food. I have been eating here for a long time so I knew this place had great food. All of my friends agreed that this restaurant has great Chinese food. I will be back for another pork chop over rice.
RELOCATION hasn’t change this delightful Food, Service, Atmosphere! Yes it’s somewhat a smaller narrower decorum with their Feng Shui a tinge skewed yet still loving eagerness to really honestly make your comfort MEALS enjoyably fresh, delicious, and belly full pleasant ambience.

New location and a merge?
Bland fish, vegetables rice
Good dumplings noodles
3/23
Their dumplings had chunks of fat in them. Salt and pepper pork chops probably used the same oil that they fried fries in because the dish smells like french fries more than pork chops.
Broth was good, sui gao were tasty, noodles were al dente, but vegetables had a bit of grit.
Wontons tasted the same as sui gaos. Disappointed
Beef hor fun is ok not super oily little wok hei nice flavor
Young chow fan is mediocre with probably expired shrimps
Pepper and salt pork chop are very doughy but tasted good
Fried rice tasted like soy sauce fried rice that anyone can make from home especially because of the soggy rice they used
Beef n rice ok but small quantity
I came for food, I got the food, they were nice and let me have a long conversation with my friend while taking care of us
Served quickly, very large portion sizes, accurate menu pictures, asks for feedback on the food, great sesame chicken!
