Woodcrest Rehabilitation reviews
15 Please look for other rehab for your loved ones!
We had to take mom to this rehab because the ones we chose didn’t have a bed available and what a nightmare! My mom cried in pain all night because the medication was not “ready” Nurses completely ignored her calls. The restroom is shared by 4 people and has plastic curtains instead of a door. Yes! 1 bathroom for 2 double bed rooms. From the entrance to the rooms, it smells horrible. They do not wear gloves when manipulating IV. I had to call and complain with social worker, nurse supervisor, admissions in order for her to get the medication. The person in the front desk had a funny attitude and seemed like he doesn’t know what he is doing. Very unprofessional.
I asked for a transfer and will take her somewhere else as soon as they let us. Horrible experience.
A friend of mine was admitted for care. I learned she was abused there and now she’s brain dead! Someone has to answer for that! Who is it? !
Woodcrest was home for my mom for the past few years. Today she passed and I want to thank the aids, nurses, administration and Social worker as well as her doctor who loved and cared for her.
In the past few years being short of staff due to covid has been a challenge; however I know that in my heart these workers are trying their best. Please help.these folks get great people to work in the facility or volunteers that are willing to feed and spend time with the residents. Help them to continue to do the best that they can to make this a great place for the current and future residents.
I am really upset that no one told us Grace Chu, the patient we were visiting, had Covid! This is, in my estimation, a criminal failure on your part. We were tested for Co vid at the door. On the second floor, we were told Grace had been moved and we were told we had to wear gowns BUT WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT GRACE HAD COVID. After our visit with Grace, we spoke to a person on the ground floor (in the exercise area) who told us that Grace had Covid.
It is a big decision to find the right types of care for a parent who cannot take care of themselves anymore. The staff at Woodcrest are wonderful, kind, responsive and supportive. As the guardian family member, your role is to close gaps on your loved one's needs, support the people looking after your loved one and to provide as much love as possible to your loved one. Woodcrest has provided a safe environment for my mother for which I am grateful.
It’s not easy to rave about a long term care at a nursing home, especially during a global pandemic, but I was extremely fortunate to get my father accepted at Woodcrest as the restrictions started to lift snd I am so grateful to the entire facility and its staff for it efficacious transfer and his care. My father is “blossoming” with attention, PT, good food, activities after two years of semi neglect which was common at most nursing homes during the pandemic. Thank you to every staffer at Woodcrest.
Great place, very nice people working there and having to deal with them makes a great deal of difference in your life
Staff I spoke with was courteous and professional. I still need to see the rest of the facility and talk with the doctors.
The reception is very friendly very nice very helpful. There’s a young lady there named peach she’s very nice and kind she show a lot of emotion and kindness towards the old people very friendly atmosphere.
Good visit with mom today she alert and happy. Thank u for looking out for her I know these times are hard especially with family members but I appreciate what has been done during this pandemic with all the residents there
Great place! Took great care of my loved one with personalized attention and devotion and i highly recommend this to my friends and family.
Woodcrest took such great care of my mom during her 4 month stay. The nurses were attentive and caring and the activities kept her constantly busy. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need.
Thank you for your good service and very good caring. My father is admitted there and I did video chat with him this morning.he was very happy. Specially thanks to staff member Ema.
Few staff members from reception to aides, are rude and unprofessional. But many are good and do provide the required service. When we visit our loved ones, we expect that the staff should be kind, shpuld try and make us feel happy and c
omfortable. Politeness, courteous kindness, professionalism is important in health care.
Elderly need to be treated respectfully.
