World Oyama Karate - Matsumoto Dojo reviews
3 I have too much to say about Dojo and Sensei Daisuke!
Dojo and Sensei Daisuke have created a remarkable community that goes beyond being a mere educational platform. It's a place where everyone feels like family, and the atmosphere is filled with warmth and kindness. Let me share why Dojo and Sensei Daisuke hold a special place in our hearts:
A Sense of Belonging: From the moment we joined Dojo, we were greeted with open arms by an incredibly welcoming community. The students, parents, and instructors at Dojo radiate kindness and inclusivity. It's a place where we feel accepted, supported, and valued. The sense of belonging is evident in every interaction we have within the community.
Sensei Daisuke's Instructional Excellence: Sensei Daisuke is more than just an instructor; he is an inspiring mentor. His teaching style is effective, engaging, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Sensei Daisuke's dedication to his students' growth and success is evident in his patience, enthusiasm, and ability to create a nurturing learning environment. His guidance extends beyond academics, as he helps students develop essential life skills and instills values of respect and perseverance.
Dojo as a Supportive Network: Dojo is not just a platform but a supportive network that extends beyond the classroom. It's a place where we can seek advice, share experiences, and find comfort in the company of others who are on a similar educational journey. The community fosters a spirit of collaboration and encouragement, allowing us to grow together as learners and individuals.
Overall, I am thankful that we had the opportunity to join this Dojo and the chance to meet Sensei and all those great families in NYC.
I have been involved in martial arts since 1991 and this dojo is by far and away my best experience. As an 40+ adult, Sensei Daisuke is both challenging and understanding. He is the real deal as an uchi deshi to Soshu Shigeru Oyama. He has fostered a real family community without compromising dojo standards. From what i can tell going to tournaments up and down the east coast, sensei has an excellent reputation even outside New York. I can’t recommend this dojo enough and invite anyone open to improving themselves to come by to check it out
Amazing place to learn karate, I'm so grateful that my kid is has a great place to learn and grow
