XO Taste reviews
30Amazing traditional food! I always get the grilled chicken over rice Taiwanese style and it always is amazing
Be careful with the receipt total in xo store. I have calculated the tip and amount myself and the receipt cost more than 20% of the total checkout amount.they send the bill without making any statement. When I found that the checkout amount does not match the consumption amount, I ask the waiter to explain, they said “Because the portion of the tip is also for the dishwashing work, so the fixed tip should be added to the total checkout. If you dont like this then you can tell the boss that there is a problem. ” This is the waiter’s explanation of the bill. For anyone who will eat here, if I hadn't looked at the bill more, I would pay the tip separately on the table with the tip that is on the receipt. This is one of the flaw that xo shop have, which is wrong for them to do. At the same time, it is illegal to charge more than 20% of tips. I will never go to this shop again in the future!
Great place to get DimSum and Congee. Lots of selection on the menu. Overwhelming on selections. Besides DimSum and Congee, other dishes on the menu was a ok, but not great.
Love the food and the space here is very lovely.
Food is nicely pried. Very affordable.
Support Chinatown business
They're trying super hard to offer outdoor dining with space heaters n they offer everything on their menu, no lacking with their food n taste.
Best way to summarize: Pan Asian diner. A cool assortment of dishes: flavor from all throughout the Asia continent.
Very nice and very patient staff. The food is always top quality. This location on Elizabeth street is much better than the other location in regards to staff and food quality.
There's good seating and the staff are bilingual so no stress over ordering.
Bathrooms are kinda small (like 1-2 people tops) but not really complaining here.
Very good for comfort food or elaborate dishes. The wide variety of different and traditional dishes make this a place to visit multiple times.
I BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS AS THEY MOVED TO THERE THIRD LOCATION. I TRAVEL WERE EVER THEY GO.
Very unpleasant dinning experience. Staff is very rude to non asian diners. Never coming back and i don't recommend it. What a way to start the Lunar New Year.
Good dim sum and a large Cantonese menu. Came here for Chinese New year with friends and had a good time. Cheap beers so my friends ordered several tsingtaos
The food is good, but not better than some others around the vicinity. Platters are more of individual portions than banquet size. Prices are affordable.
Save yourself the trip to this place! The lady serving us had an incredibly foul attitude and the food was subpar.
Fusion Canto food.no frills and quick. The dining area is surprisingly big so while this place is busy, you rarely have to wait.
Their food are tasty and at a reasonable price, my only complain will be their service which it why I only give it a 4 star.
Large menu, good food, spacious. I go there weekly. Best vegetable chow main I ever had. Not greasy.can you imagine? You can order many dishes vegan or vegetarian, just ask the owner/boss if not on the menu. Also takes credit cards which is a plus. Sevice is a hit or miss, but if you get the boss.he is wonderful.
Nice selection of variety of dishes - curry, spicy, vegetarian, seafood. And nice photos on the walls for all to see (and not just read about on the menu). However, the quality and taste of the food has taken a bit of a downturn. The food used to be really good, a place that I looked forward to visiting. Maybe the kitchen staff changed? Also, prices went up recently. But the service was good (as usual), the place is spacious (almost never a wait) and it's still a decent place to eat.
I meet up with my brother, who lives nearby and have eaten lunch here several times. There is parking available across the street which is a big plus. The food here is well prepared and very tasty. It is not a one note soy sauce on everything kind of place. Stir fried dishes are not greasy. Dim sum is fresh (especially on weekends). Service is good and food comes out quickly, even on crowded weekends. Week days is definitely less crowded, on weekends you will have to queue up.
Pretty good food, reasonable prices. Got the cheese baked rice with ground beef and enjoyed it.
Warm, welcoming, clean, and delicious. Waiter recommended a great dish, piping hot, very fresh veggies, and good value. Will come back.
Tipical Chinese restaurant in Chinatown district. Amazing food and amazing service. Very polite crew, the owner was serving me smiling and offering me the delicious dishes of his restaurant and a famous Chinese beer. Good prices, very cheap. If you want to try a proper Chinese restaurant go ahead!
Ristorante tipico cinese nel quartiere di Chinatown. Cibo e servizio fantastici. La crew molto gentile e disponibile, il proprietario mi serviva sorridendo e offrendomi i suoi deliziosi piatti e una famosa birra cinese. Prezzi buonissimi, economico. Se vuoi provare un ristorante cinese come si deve, prova questo!
