Having roaches in your place of business is absolutely crazy …. Maybe they should spend less time talking about the customers in French and more time cleaning up the place? Make sure you shake your clothes out before leaving this place.

Never again went here for two box braid and she did it soo hard tha look all hair a loss my god I wish I never stop in this place I had to tell her please slowly she have no considering please you are dealing with all tipe of her stop the hating for other countries people she start doing an went like I have no felling I knew my hair will be loss a lil by the way she was taking my hair but never tought I will tha amoun of hair 50 dollar never again

It's ok, but the prices are doubled for no reason. So I will only go here bc of distance, when I'm in a rush. If I can't I can't make it to either Fatou's hair braiding shop or my other stylist D'jenaba (bc I forget the shop name rn) at the shop across the street Down town Brooklyn!

I got my natural hair box braided. My braidtician did a wonderful job, my braids were neat and beautiful

This is my regular Salon. They are professional, friendly and fast braiding but very busy so call for an appt.

Asked for the first photo design and didn't get it. Shorty made it seem like she knew what she was doing and then 3 braids in she goes to eat? Mind you I was the first person there. If she didn't know how to do the design or simply didn't want to do my hair she could've said that. So now you ended up taking them 3 terrible braids out and watching me walk out with no pay. Yama was better off telling me to wait for the other lady that can lace some braids. Very weird flex and she knew better as a grown women. Just sad.

WARNING DONT GO HERE THEY ALL ABOUT THEY MONEYNOT ABOUT THE CLIENTS AND BOSS PLAYS DUMB! Went and got my hair done today which I’ve done previously the lady did a horrible job in my hair box braids and parts are horrible told owner but I won’t spend not another dime there she said cause my hair natural miss I been natural for five years and last time I ain’t have this problem came home even realized she left hair out I will be there tomorrow to fix that and never again and that other girl right go for one hair style and not walk out with what you want please don’t spend your money here I went to pay her she shouted how much is this how about you count it I replied …. She was more worried about the money then to help a customer who wasn’t satisfied with the services provided then they started to speak they language I said if you talking about me talk English it got silent … photo below is day two what ya think

If you have a favorite hair style it's not braids forget about it's not gonna get done not even with a video or picture.

This place took out my hair. Over tme my hair. Dont grow by my hair line n edges. Dont go here if u want yout hesd to stay on your head. They mght seem to be nice n friendly but. Beeare. Your hzir. Will have problems if these people. Keep doing your hair take it from me n my friendz

The first time i went, everything was perfect and the shedding afterwards was completely normal since i left the style in for about 3 weeks.the second time i went was 3 weeks ago for another protective style after 2 months, and today i took my hair out and the shedding was outrageous.not to mention my edges! I currently have 3 bald spots and my scalp is burning of irritation.it’s normal for the braids to be tight and to not be as comfortable the first day but i know this time IT WAS NOT NORMAL.after 3 days i noticed my half breaking from the roots, red bumps all over my hairline.a complete disaster.i’m disappointed that i have to now look for a new place, the employees were so kind and nice but this work that was done to be for the last time? Never again.

Lovely set of ladies working at Yama hair salon, I'm well pleased each time i visit to get my hair done.

They were so nice! And did my hair thouroughly. They made sure everything was great before I left. Thank you!
