Yamasho sushi steakhouse reviews
16We went here to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and wow was it Wonderful! The food was delicious the staff was FANTASTIC! We live over 2 hrs away, but hope to make this a regular stop whenever we are in the area!
The food was bland as hell and Veggies weren’t cooked long enough. It was not worth the 200$ spent to eat there. Oh rice was burnt. The service and quality of food has went down.
Can't beat the price for the experience and the portions of food. We happen to stop in on a Friday night after being told an hour wait everywhere else. Great service.
Decided to give this place a try after reading a lot of good reviews, and true enough the food is good. Not great, but good and the place has a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, but our hibachi chef was a bit under-enthused. Still, they put on a good enough show. My only real complaint is that they automatically charge an 18% gratuity on your bill. It's a bit of a shame because I was prepared to leave a 20% to 25% tip since I thought the service was quite good, but since they felt the need to auto charge 18%, I left it at that. Tips are there to incentivize good service, so if you auto-charge, what's the incentive to do well? What if service had been horrible? I still would have been forced to tip 18%. At the very least, they should make you aware of this ahead of time. Again, not the end of the world, but worth mentioning. Also, the salad was 90% iceberg lettuce. Kinda lame.
Overall, not bad, but you're better off going to some place like Mitsuba in Camillus or Saki Bomb in Cicero.
This is a great place with great staff and delicious food! Thanks for GREAT service. My kids love the entertainment as well.
Last night we went to Yamasho for the first time! One of our guests is visiting from Italy and had never experienced Japanese Hibachi! The rest of us (5) had but not at Yamasho! All I can say is they knocked it out of the park! The service, the environment and our hibachi chef was great! We all had a great time and thank you for the wonderful experience! Grazie mille from our Italian guest. Nico!
I ordered takeout. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken with miso and fried rice, and chicken tempura with veggies and salad. I was told it would be about 15 minutes. That was accurate. It was 17 minutes. The veggies were fried veggies. The breading was a “fluffy” deep fried. The food was very good! The miso was good. Salad was… um, salad! Fresh. There were a lot of options on the menu. We had takeout but the inside was very clean. The hostess was friendly and professional. I would like to take my wife here for the hibachi! We will be back in the future. I give four stars for a great first time visit. I need to have the same great service and food for a five star review. But, I will be back to try some of the many food options on the menu! There is a discount if you pay cash!
1st time here and was so impressed! Absolutely awesome. Food was great. Service was amazing. Every single staff member was literally running making sure every table had everything they needed. I saw no guests waiting. Food came quick and as I said, food was great. Some of the best sushi I’ve had. Everything else we got had great flavor. We got the steamed dumpling which were just the right amount for an appetizer and the filling was flavorful and delicious. We also got some chicken friend rice which we shared and was so delicious. Some of the best I’ve had here in the Cuse. Definitely recommend.
Went with my family! A really relaxing fun time! Excellent service! Excellent food! Excellent atmosphere! Well worth the price!
Everything is very fresh and delicate. Had the sahimi, bacon wrapped shrimp, veggie tempura, pork gyoza, dumpling (gyoza) soup, and hot tea. Presentation was good, service was friendly and professional, everything was served at the appropriate temperature. The menu is fairly extensive, so most people should find something they would like.
The staff here is so friendly, and food is amazing. One of my favorite places to eat. Try their lunch bento box, so much food for a great price. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.
We enjoyed a birthday dinner for my son. We had such a great time. The service, entertainment and atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious.
We love yamosho! Always great service, pleasant, attentive servers, and fresh, delicious food! Not the best location, but a hidden local gem!
Don't get me wrong. Food was good enough. The service was absolutely terrible. The chef did his thing at our table. He was okay but as far as ordering appetizers, drinks and/or dessert, the waiter was completely missing in action. I only had one drink through the entire meal, only because the waiter never ever came back except to throw the bill at us
I like this place. I’ve been here a few times, the only issue is they make me feel like I’m being rushed out the door 4 people came up to the table asking if we wanted to go boxes as soon as the habachi person finished. Then I signed for my card and the guy asked me if that was my signature ummm yes. Weird but not a bad place foods good.
This restaurant is a breath of fresh air. The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. One of my favorite places to go.
