Yoseka Stationery reviews
18Beautiful stationery store and employees were super helpful! So happy they let you try dip pen nibs, I was interested on the kakimori brass nib and was able to test it in the store which was a great experience! Will definitely come again!
Awesome store! Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Tons of test items set out to try
The most lovely Taiwanese stationery shop, with the kindest staff! From the wooden tables and shelves to the potted plants and handwritten notes — it’s charming inside.
There’s a ton of notebooks, pens, fountain pens, washi tape, stickers, stamps, and other stationery accessories to browse. It’s not the largest store, so it can get a bit crowded. There’s a long table spanning across the middle of the room, with a bunch of pens available for testing. It’s nice how the staff will grab new pens separate from the tester pens when you’re ready. The store is super well-organized, and the staff are knowledgeable and diligent in keeping things tidy.
I left with a couple of pens and rolls of washi tape. As I was checking out, I was helped by Christine, who was really pleasant to talk with - thank you! (Also +1 for Yoseka’s Youtube channel!)
Ordered online! Usps lost my package so I emailed yoseka about the situation they gave me there best recommendation and they were fast to reply! Usps recovered the the good and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Thank you guys for your support and sending the great product. 5 stars love my hobonichi techno cousin!
Best stationery store I've ever been to. I'd recommend this store to anyone looking for writing utensils or stationery, especially if you even remotely appreciate good design and quality or even if you just want to come for the Ghibli movie vibes
Setup
The setup is amazing, there's a long table in the middle for everyone to try different writing/drawing utensils on paper. It really evokes a sense of community.
Products
There are so many different products to browse, from what I saw, most are from Japanese brands like Midori, Hobonichi, etc.
Service
The employee who helped me was knowledgeable and he even gave me recommendations.
Vibe
The decor is amazing. I'm obsessed with all the wood and vintage vibes. There are so many cool details. It's easy to check out each product as well, as they usually keep an open notebook for you to flip through to check the material or look and feel.
The overall is great. Everyone who frequents here seems to love stationery. Great place. I don't live here sadly, so I wish I had a place like this near me, but I go out of my way to come here whenever I'm in town.
A quite nice Asian stationary store that offers a unique selection of stationeries:) really pretty interior!
Poor experience.communication lacking. Phone-line never answered. Dissatisfied with the experience of ordering for pick-up.
Great online orders! Everything was packaged with care, there was a hand written note and when i had questions about my order, they were very knowledgeable and answered quickly. Yoseka has become my new go-to favorite stationary store
This is the best stationery store in New York! I love this store, and the staff is so knowledgeable and passionate about everything they carry!
Another favorite stationery shop in New York where I got most of my fountain pens and inks ~ ️The staff is really friendly and helpful too! They are also an official partner of Travelers’s Company?
This is my favorite store in New York City. I can test out pens and paper. They have a great selection of papers as someone who loves writing letters. All the accessories I could possibly want for my notebooks!
The staff and owners are especially kind and patient. They're never trying to rush you, even if you're testing everything in sight and bare no indication of buying something. I literally go there to hang out bc the vibe is so nice.
Had such a great experience at Yoseka, I was visiting the city from LA & bought a sailor 1911. The gentleman who helped me was extremely helpful and considerate, I had a lot of questions and asked to see several display models to which he obliged. I’ll be coming back when I visit NYC
Pretty busy store, but the staffs are nice and helpful. I especially enjoy the center table with all the fountain pens for customers to try.
Great store, great products, and amazing customer service! Additionally, everyone should know that Neil is a kind individual.
This stationary store is my absolute favorite, and trust me, I am a pen connoisseur! Yoseka's staff is knowledgeable and friendly, but also let you do your own independent investigating throughout the store. I have bought many affordable fountain pens, inks, and journals here and I cannot recommend them enough. Anytime I am feeling like I need to treat myself, I head to Yoseka and relax into the amazing experience of Japanese-made stationary products, which are unlike any other!
Come and check out a diverse selection of pens, pencils, planners, notebooks, and other stationary items. Furthermore, the staff was approachable and the store was clean and cozy.
Really wonderful store! Went in yesterday to get a gift for a loved one and the associate helped me for 30 minutes answering all my questions. Very well priced too! Will definitely be back.
I have only ever ordered from Yoseka online, but it has become my very favorite shop for all things paper, pens, pouches, inks, stationery and planner supplies. If you are looking for unique and high quality items for your analog habits and hobbies, look no further. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, product videos are great, orders are packed with care and shipping is fast. Selection is beyond fantastic. If I didn’t live far across the country, I would love to visit the brick and mortar store - hopefully someday. My biggest issue is trying to keep myself from buying everything in the shop! Well done, Yoseka - I am a fan!
