The instructor was excellent and the ambience was pleasant. The studio was impeccable and clean.

Milonga on Wednesdays at 8 pm quite crowded with a pleasant atmosphere. Small bar with good prices.fantastic apartment. Little place to sit but you don't miss it!

At YSBD you get: large, clean studios, friendly staff and great instructors, all of whom I’ve found to be excellent communicators. Particularly Stina Dallons. I have not met someone as vivacious, entertaining and genuinely effective as an instructor for both leaders and followers. She is very quick to spot flaws and is just as quick at pointing out in an easy to understand fashion how to improve and master techniques. A great place to learn or touch up on your technique!

Intermediate Balboa.
Bobby and Sara are terrific teachers. In addition to technical skills, Boby creates an environment where you make friends with the other classmates.

Elena is a great teacher, so approachable, and patient. She really knows how to give feedback gently. I loved her teaching style. Also, the class size was very intimate, and not overcrowded, unlike other places I have taken classes at. I will surely keep taking classes here!

This is the best studio in NYC for swing dancing lessons and dance parties! I’ve been swing dancing for 10+ years and this is the place I recommend everyone go to learn in the city. Plus, their swing dance events with live music especially are amazing! I’m so glad they’re back after the pandemic.

We did a private lesson and had a fantastic experience. We did 2 sessions and both instructors were extremely helpful and could help us with exactly our beginner skill level. Would recommend this to people looking for a fun experience with a partner!

The Thursday night Frim Fram dance jam is a BALL! The dancers are great, there's an excellent sense of sharing & community, & this place is fun!

Super fun class! The hour goes by so fast, and I definitely want to take it a few more times to get more comfortable!
