I attempted the camp in brooklyn. Unloved every minute of it. I loved it so much I became a counselor in training for 2 years. Best time of my life

My kids said they love it and asked to go back next year. Thank you to the staff for keeping them safe and help them to have a lot of fun.

I had my 2 children here for a few weeks summer of 2022 and it was the best decision. The staff is amazing, they work with you every step of the way. We had a very delicate situation and they were more than accommodating, understanding, and friendly. They made a difference in my children's life when they needed it most. I recommend this camp for anyone! If you want your child/ren to have a great summer filled with fun while making new friends and being under the supervision experienced professionals than this is your camp! They also have a really cool app that keeps you up to date on payments, trips, any important info, including cute pics of your children having a blast. Thank you YPDC for showing my kids the most awesome summer!

Definitely recommend this camp 100% Communication between the camp and parents was fantastic. They did really fun things, the schedule was extremely organized and all staff were always accommodating. Everyday was filled with activities and trips. More importantly, my daughter came home so happy everyday and loved her summer.thank you!

This was the first time my son went to YPDC and he had such an amazing time. He looked forward to camp every day. He enjoyed going to the pool and the various trips. Having the round trip bussing was definitely convenient!

We loved YPDC Queens this summer. The staff was communicative and explained what we could expect every step of the way since this is our first year. Based on my child’s account, the counselors were very nice to him and made sure that he had a lot of fun. Attending YPDC Queens was the perfect end to the summer and we plan to come back next summer for a longer time.

My daughter looks forward to YPDC every summer! They always have a bunch of activities planned out each week that are clearly laid out on the calendar, so I always feel in the loop. I really appreciate the fact that you can choose which weeks you want attend (instead of being obligated to participating the entire summer). It's also really convenient to have bus pick ups and drop offs factored into the overall price!

My daughter looked forward Waking up to go to camp and and wondering how how much fun it was gonna be that day. The staff was very attentive to her needs and cared about providing joy to all the kids. I would definitely have my child returning back the following year.

My granddaughter loved the camp experience. She went on weekly trips. Swimming twice a week. She even spent the summer with some of her friends from school. The best feature is the pick up and drop off door to door service! Your child will surely love their experience when they participate next year in camp!

My son has been attending YPDC since 2018 and has enjoyed every moment. This has been his 2nd year with the new staff and we have no complaints. Denise and Kelly are wonderful with contacting parents and following up to emails or missed calls. I receive photos of all the fun activities everyday. My son comes home with wonderful memories, excited for the next day and tired. Reasonable price and door to door drop off service, we will be back next year.

I would give this Camp 10 stars if I can! My son attended all summer and he loved it! He looked forward to going to camp everyday and loved his Camp counselors!

He was not a strong swimmer when he started this camp and by the time he finished he was great!

Although he lives out of State throughout the school year he made friends that he will continue to keep in contact with.

I am very picky with the activities my son is in and I can say I was truly happy. Thank you for taking good care of my baby and we look forward to next year!

Went to this camp sometime between 2008/2009 and it is by far the worst camp any kid could attend. The kids bullied each other (myself included), we did no activities at all and in the case there was a rain day, all we did was sit in a school cafeteria or auditorium. I also ended up with ringworm, which case part of my hair to fall out. You sit all day in a park in sweltering heat with no tarp to protect your from getting ants. Since I use to bring an umbrella to minimize the UV rays, was always used as a cover from when the teenager counselors wanted to go on their ohones and text their boyfriends. I would hope things have changed since but I doubt it. This camp is awful and it shouldn't be in business, send your kids somewhere else for the sakes of their safety.

I highly recommend this camp.i love the dynamic between the staff and the kids. Personally i felt like my son was with extended family. There was never a day my son wasn't occupied from 8am that they arrive until dismissal they kept my 13 year old engaged.
Ms. Denice, Ms. Kelly, Mr. Brandon you all rock

My daughter had a wonderful summer camp experience here. Not sure about the other reviews but I’m the camp orientation we were told that the camp was outside and we were given a copy of the breakfast and lunch menu. There was no expectation that there would be hot lunch delivered to the park daily. The activities were great, my daughter loved the swimming pool, laser tag, skating, etc. The counselors were great and fun. We will definitely return next year.

If you have kids 6 and under don't even bother to send your kids to YPDC in Bayside Queens. This camp is mostly for independent kids [teens]. I did 5 weeks and everything they said they were going to do before they were paid never happen. They stated that they were going to do temperature checks before the kids get on the bus it never happen. I had to check my child's temperature every time he came home. They used a public park and the bathrooms were unsanitary most of the time. The lunches were always cold and kids had to pay $2.00 for a slice of pizza if they didn't want the lunch as if $2000.00 was not enough payment for the 5 weeks. The bus matron had no control of the older kids on the bus. They curse and would not sit down in the bus and some kids would not even wear their seatbelts. Money was stolen from my son's bag and there was no real explanation of who stole it. This was the first and last time I would ever use this camp. They YES you to death and no follow up. All talk no action.

Wow, so it seems that we attended camp in a horrible year. My friend that referred me to this camp was also very disappointed this year. So the issues I experienced.
1. The bus was horrible. My kids didn’t get picked up the first two days. Then everyday we had to call and ask if the bus was coming. The camp starts at 8: 00 my kids were not being picked up until after 9: 00. So by the time they arrive it’s just about time to reboots back home. They were on the bus for 3 hours.
2. We were constantly paying for a lot of activities. Which I thought would have covered it in the price, since they don’t have to pay for overhead fees since everything is done outside in a park.
3. Our kids missed a lot of morning activities due to the bus picking up late and arriving at camp late. When my husband ask for a bit of a refund for their lack of organization. Since kids missed a lot of morning activities. We received a refund saying no refund and they made an excuse to why and clearly said. You already paid so deal with however we function.

The moral of my story experience. I will never return or refer this company to any families.
