Everyone was respectful and caring I was impressed how quickly I was seen as well as the speed of obtaining my next at The staff couldn’t have been nicer

I had a tooth extracted thurs 2pm but unfortunately couldn't get it to stop bleeding. So at 730 pm I called their emergency number and Dr Cohen called me back about 20 min later. He told me he made arrangements to open the Hauppauge office and to meet him there at 930 pm. He also had 2 assistants Jill and Lisa come in special to help me. They stitched me up and stopped the bleeding. Now that's what I call going the extra step for a patient. Highly recommend Your Smile Dental

Dr Casanova is very professional and takes the time to make sure the job is perfect! Staff is wonderful! Very caring.

The Dentist and his assistant were great they took time to explain to me what was going on in greater detail than I expected and made sure I was informed and they made sure I wasn’t in any pain and did there part extremely well and efficient. The receptionists were friendly, helpful, kind & courteous. Everyone went above and beyond when it came to their job and did their part. What a great place to get any type of dental work done. Thank you very much to everyone there for making my experience nothing short of wonderful.

Again, this Dental office is the best. Like I said before they treat you like family and will do what is right for you. Plus excellent dental work.

My son’s 4 wisdom teeth were removed. The doctor and staff were extremely helpful and kind. My son’s surgery was on schedule and done quickly. All went smoothly and he was fine.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that I’ve been coming to this dentist office for quite some time now and they absolutely don’t answer their phones during the day, don’t call back even if you requested a call back, and don’t even respond to voicemails. This has happened more than once and there’s no excuse for this. The Dr.is amazing but because of how poorly I’ve been treated by trying to reach out to the office, I’m going to a different doctor.

Give me an appointment right away and repaired it 123! They are all very courteous, polite and professional

Went to go see a periodontist on a follow up.assistant was chill an the doc had purrdy eyes.their text confirm map quest link stuff helped too.

The staff is excellent and the location is very convenient for me. Dr. Mike and Aliceann are the best.

Doctor and assistants explained every step in my complicated extraction getting my impacted wisdom tooth out that was sideways and infected.
So professional kind and gentle so very grateful for their excellent service it was a very comfortable experience.

*FINAL UPDATE*
Today, I met with the oral surgeon for an extraction and bone graft. Since my last 2 extractions were super painful, I was nervous. The oral surgeon took time to explain everything as he went along. The dental assistant and office staff also explained my options before the procedure so I could make an informed decision regarding what would be done today.

What a great experience. So much better.

*UPDATE*
A few days after I posted this review, the office manager reached out to me to address my complaints. After speaking with her, I decided to give them another chance. I've had 1 visit so far and my office experience went well. My appointment with Dr. Maiorino went perfectly (as expected). I'll check in again after my 2nd visit.

Unfortunately, my experience at Your Smile Dental's Hauppauge location has been frustrating at best. I'm extremely disappointed since I was looking forward to going to Dr. Maiorino.

Based on reviews, I requested Dr. Maiorino for my 1st appointment with Your Smile Dental but they had nothing available for about 2-3 weeks. No problem, even though I was in pain from a broken filling & possible abscess, judging from the reviews I expected there to be a wait.

The day finally arrived and I was told the doctor I was "scheduled to see" was no longer with the practice and I needed to reschedule. Why no one called is a mystery. The person at the desk went to the back to ask if I could be "fit in" for the appointment I had waited 3 weeks to attend. I was taken for a cleaning and x-rays but no cleaning was done.

I was then informed that the dentist would be in to look at my mouth and make a care plan. Imagine my surprise when Dr. Maiorino (the one I requested) walked in. So much for the excuse I was given at the front desk.

After speaking with Dr. Maiorino, I went to the front desk to make my follow up appointments and was told to only make one for a filling since they needed to get preauthorization for the rest. Again, no problem, but that meant I had to wait an additional week to get relief from my tooth pain.

A week later, I arrived for my filling and was told I had no appointment! After waiting 4 weeks for a filling, you can imagine I was beyond upset. I had made arrangements to be available for the dental work today only to be told they have "a new system that's screwing things up" and that they couldn't fit me in. AFTER WAITING 4 WEEKS.

My brief encounters with the dental tech and Dr. Maiorino were positive overall but if you can't get in to see them because of subpar office staff, it's better to go ANYWHERE else.

This was my first - and last - experience with this office.
