A run down shack with nasty food to eat. I asked for beef soup no vegetables and of course I end up getting vegetables. I also got 2 bottled waters for $2 each and they forgot to put them in my bag. So I had to walk back in 20 degree weather to grab them. Wasted $20 on something that went str8 in the garbage when I got back home. I hope this place gets shut down cuz it definitely doesn’t look clean inside at all.

Very good rice noodle spot that offers more of your standard fare rice noodle assembly set. They've got multiple locations in the city and this one is quite spacious. Noodles are unlimited. I really can't see you going wrong here, especially as so many of the noodle broths/flavors are similar.

What is it like to keep staring while eating? It makes people uncomfortable. How did the boss and the landlady teach me? The food is not delicious. The spicy soup base melts easily. I will not come to this restaurant again.

Great location for those cold late nights, this location is open till late! The noodles were very tasty, great portion size & free refills on noodles. Atmosphere was great tons of space and is very clean. Service on the other hand needs to be worked on. I feel that the waiters are always on their phone, talking to each or just sitting down and gossiping. Price is decent definitely go with an empty stomach to get your money's worth on the free refill on noodles. Overall great late night spot.

Food was good! I liked what I tried! Service wasn't great, and the group of girls I was with and I were stared at the whole time by the waiters. We felt very uncomfortable.

Pretty delicious noodles for an amazing price! The rice noodles are unlimited and the side dishes are quite cute!

There is only one waiter running around in such a big store, and I can’t get anything I want, so I’m speechless

Very good noodles, pretty interior, fast service. We came on a whim after parking our car across the street, and so glad we did. Would come again!

*Tomato Rice Noodle Soup w/ Beef Slices & Enoki Mushroom
Charging ~$14 for a bowl of rice noodle but they only added 2 thin slices of beef? The portion of noodle could feed 2 people, but they were skimpy with toppings. The tomato soup was very watery and flavorless. If I had to pick sth to praise, the clay pot kept the rice noodle bubbling hot lol (while the AC was so weak)

*Rice Noodle Soup with Spicy Sauce w/ Added Beed
It came with a platter of 10 sides, but the dishes were weird, cheap and unauthentic. The minced pork didn’t look like minced pork at all, probably from a can. The shrimp wasn’t fresh and tiny. I was clueless why they paired rice noodle with lap cheong either. The platter came with beef, but we still ordered extra beef and was only given 4 thin slices in total. Plus the soup base wasn’t spicy enough, very diff from a traditional yunnan rice noodle broth.

*Deep Fried Tofu with Garlic Sauce
STONE HARD. I couldn’t even force myself to give a second bite. The sauce was strange and tangy. It was over-fried so the tofu skin turned rough. Not to say it lacked garlic fragrance.

Worth returning? NO.

I have never had Chinese food from Yunnan before, and I had to look the region up because it was totally different than any other Chinese food I have ever had. It was very good.
For an appetizer, we shared a dish with ox tongue in it (I can't think of its name)
and after that, a tomato based soup with beef and enoki mushrooms. They were both very tasty!
We will be back to try some more!

I don't understand what the servers do at this restaurant. They just stand there and are completely non-attentive. We have to get their attention for every single thing. One of the servers used one of our paper napkins to clean the table and left the dirty napkin there without giving us a new clean napkin. Just doesn't make sense.

Three of us ordered rice noodle soup and one one of us got the skewer hot pot. The server understood our order and discussed us at length about it. He also questioned why my friend ordered the skewer hot pot for himself. And then lo and behold, all three soups come out and no skewer hot pot. Around 15-20 min later, we asked about the skewer hot pot and turns out they never put in the skewer hot pot order at all.

We only asked because we have trauma from la queen tea house next door and their atrocious service. We went to the noodle house to avoid going to la queen tea house and turns out they are related. Both with abhorrent service. Absolutely non existent. Do not go to either restaurant.

It's not very authentic, there are very few side dishes, but there are quite a few varieties, and the soup is very greasy. It doesn't taste like Guoqiao rice noodles. Mainly because I had diarrhea once when I went home after eating, and I never dared to go there again. I have to wait many times for a long time every time I want something. The tip is not low.
A bonus point is that the environment is pretty good.
