Zambito's Service Center, Rochester NY

The staff and service is always respectful. The atmosphere is clear and pleasant. My car needed work and if they couldn't do it I would've had no choice but to take it to Chrysler dealership. My car feels like I just drove it off the Chrysler car lot. I appreciate them and their service. I feel if they can't do it, it can't be done outside the dealership. Thank you so much Zambitos.

Honest, friendly, knowledgeable, down-to-earth guys that will give you a straight forward answer. It's a popular shop for a reason. Be prepared for a bit of a wait time, but it's worth it.

Been going to this place for years. Shane and his son are personal friends of mine and has taken care of me and my family for many years. Top notch service. I recommend them to anybody. In the automotive business you get what you pay for and believe me their service is worth every dime.

Mike and his nephews have a genuine care about their customers; they're honest and knowledgeable about their craft, which is why I've been with them over the last several years and refer them to anyone looking for a great mechanic!

I' ve used other repair shops but never had I enjoyed plain, clear, honest explainations regarding the repairs and solutions. Mike customers all speak volumes about his work ethics! Great repair shop!

After clearly stating to Mike when calling on Tuesday that my car can only be looked at on a Saturday as I use it for work he assured me to drop it off and he can get to it. I drop it off exactly at 8: 30am when they open only to call them at 2: 50pm and they haven't looked at it but can Monday. They really need to set appointments. I would've never arranged a ride and my plans around them for them to push it off at their convenience. If you can't do the car then say so in advance. I have brought my car there several times since Shane bought it. They kept my equinox passing inspection as long as possible but it's apparent they are overwhelmed with clients leaving valued customers in a bind. My whole family and in laws will now be going to look for new mechanics since this isn't the first issue here. Other visits have been a week to replace a fuel line, four days to replace a tire and today was the icing on the poor service cake. Get it together zambitos, you use to be reliable!

They took care of my car for a while. They were awesome but super busy so it's hard to get in right away, you have to plan ahead and call.

I think ownership changed, and since its been nothing but downhill.

Latest escapade is taking my car there for an AC problem and an inspection. He tells me in the case of ACs "He wins, I lose". Exact words. They never called me, i ALWAYS had to call to check on where we were in the process. After 4 days, the AC was not fixed, and the gentleman decided to only put 3 tires on when I asked for 4 to be done (why leave one old tire). IM LITERALLY TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY, and you don't want it.

So, I order the part they say I need, and make an appointment to come in for the fix. I show up at the appointment time, and he tells me "look at my board, leave it here and ill TRY to get to it". Absolutely not. I've spent thousands of dollars with that shop, and was willing to keep spending. An appointment means you fix it when ou said you would.

I literally took it up the road, paid more than they were asking, and paid AGAIN for a freon charge just to not deal with them. The WORST customer service I've dealt with in a long time. It takes a lot for me to get heated, but I was from this. Will never use that shop again, and will always steer people in another direction, even if the rates are more. You get what you pay for, and I try to give my money to people who will appreciate it, and treat me fairly!

Best place in Rochester, Shane and Mike are awesome people. Everyone when works at this auto shop is awesome. Very honest people you definitely won't be disappointed with service. I highly recommend this auto shop they do great work. I will always bring my vehicle here anytime I need work done.

Please read this! I went to zambitos because it was close to my home and it had been there for a long time. I did like judge judy and millian say, bring a used car to a mechanic to be looked at before you buy. I paid to have the car looked at before I purchased it! They found some work had to be done before it would pass inspection and said the car was worth purchasing but needed some repairs. I paid them good money and good money for the car. It breaks down in 1 week. The engine was no good and there was no oil in the car. They couldn't tell there was no oil in the car? The engine was defective? I lost all my money. I'm a disabled older man. I needed that car because I'm sick and need to get to the doctor. I have no money, no car and no way to get to my appointments. I couldn't do anything with the car so I asked them what to do. They said we can get rid of the car for $250.00. I needed the money so ok. They call me and tell me I'm only getting $130.00 for my car. I said please give me my car back and they screamed and thretend me and said it was gone. I hear now that this is a scam that they are doing to people who don't know about cars and are taking advantage of my ignorance. May God bless them with letting people read this and may they loose business.

**Plenty of Nice looking, kleen and good running "used" vehicles of all kinds for "SALE" at this location. Employees are professional, courteous and they stand by their work when fixing your vehicles. I like the " Owner" very honest guy Any problems ask for him. 2020

The service was decent, but Rod or Rob whatever his name is, was very rude and I would not go there again.

They are efficient. They explain what they habe to do to your vehicle and why. They prices are fair or decent.

This is an awesome auto shop very friendly and dependable can ask them to look somthing over and know you'll be getting an honest answer and they have always done there best to make their prices cheap and affordable. Great local father and son ran business.
